Great! Its getting around 100k an hour so i can definitely see it reaching near 2M views in a day if the views dont slow down! Impressive for them!

It's insane how many people listened to the song for the first time because of the video, goes to show how much of a wrong move it is to purposefully plan for it to come after the song's release, you miss on a bigger audience.

Yeah 100% .. I think it will debut with around 1.5mil which is still a massive improvement from BUS. I really think this will get a new peak officially very soon!

I’m so pleased the view count isn’t terrible. Must admit I did think after BUS it would struggle to hit 1M.

 

I’m praying it peaks this weeks and then again next week but that’s VERY optimistic.

It's really hard to compare the situations though. BUS was released mid-lockdown, with a video made during lockdown, in a time when people had all day to to watch music videos etc.. and by the time they'd read about it, were probably put off by the initial reactions of the animations. 'Holiday' had a video that was actually shot and recorded and the girls seemed to hype the video up in a similar way to the way they have previously hyped their videos.

 

(P.s. I still LOVE the BUS video :wub:)

Interesting that Break Up Song got less views even though it went top ten and was their ‘comeback’’.
I think the reason being the Break Up Song video wasn’t really a proper normal music video due to obviously the circumstances and I think by the time something did come out the song had already peaked .

As we approach midnight, Holiday has gathered roughly 1.3 million views. Impressive! Let’s see what they get to within the first 24 hours.

I doubt it it's climbing much slower than it was.

 

Still I'm really pleased with 1.7M considering BUS only got like 600k or so..

 

Amazing news that it's 15 on Amazon, although My app's removed it from the list AGAIN :(

 

Annoying it struggles on Apple, I would of thought being 4 on Todays Hit's would of had a better impact alongside the video but nevermind.

It's actually 21 still on Amazon not sure where 15 came from.
