#17 in the mids today. Higher than this point last week, another week top 20?

I can see this potentially rising depending on what songs are above or below this and if they will move positions or not. (Hopefully they drop below the girls  )

It normally picks up on AM throughout the week so that will help too. Does this update have any missing data?

I reckon it might scrap the top 20.

Tick Tock, Midnight Sky and You Broke Me First are bound to overtake.

Yeah i’ve just seen who’s near this. Hoping it stays top 20 but it’s gonna be hard for them.

Oh apparently that update is Monday's actual update and we're missing Tuesdays update?

So Blackpink and Selena fell 18 positions in one day? Ouch.

Apparently? I'm not convinced. I think it's actually Tuesday's update.
Streaming data looks like it's missing.

Sadly I do feel this is over with now.

Falling away on Apple And have pushed it down on Today’s Hits..

Spotify pushed it down on HHUK

Songs just behind it all rapidly increasing..

It’s a bit of a shame as it was a grower and I think it probably deserved better than 17 but let’s hope the next singles a proper banger!

‘Falling away on Apple’

It’s down 3 spots. I looked expecting it to have plummeted....

Not even that arsed about a new single at this point, just wanna know something about the album.
It was another cute hit for them. They need something bigger for sure. Taylor releasing on the same week as them as the video and discount not coming two weeks earlier were the main issues here, but at least it didn't flop as badly as some of you said it was at the start.

It definitely isn’t a flop but wasn’t a smash hit at the same time.. It will probably go Silver sooner than later so it’s okay i guess. I do feel that if they released the video sooner etc etc it would of turned out better for them but it’s not the end of the world.

Now the search is coming very soon i imagine the next single and LM6 will be too... I really hope their team has a proper plan for this single and will learn from the mistakes from BUS and Holiday. Jade said in an interview when BUS was released that they had the video for the original lead single already filmed so i imagine that is the next single which means the video will probably be released the same day..(hopefully anyways!)

But it wasn't the massive chart hit some of y'all were predicting it to be before even hearing the song. Maybe if one side should refrain from giving their predictions, so should the other :)

I'm glad they released the MNEK remix as thats what gave the song some punch for me and made me actually voluntarily play it in the car

I mean, I do feel like Break Up Song (especially) and Holiday have sort of kept them afloat and gave them a little boost in popularity again after Bounce Back/One I've Been Missing flopped badly but they really do need to throw EVERYTHING into the next single to try get a top 5 peak and something that could crawl to Platinum again. The Search, album, video out quick, tons of promo etc.

Unfortunately it feels to me like the Holiday campaign was pointing to all that you’ve mentioned and then the girls disappeared after the song’s release as well as the label’s organisation. I don’t have much fait in a much better single campaign than either of the past two now, but I’d ne gladly proven wrong.

Bounce Back had promo but it was their first single with RCA and there was no quarantine to challenge the label.

Also I don’t see them having a Top 5 without TTH. Most of the higher songs on the UK charts are featured there and it’s a massive followers advantage.

I'm not even sorry about predicting that this would be a top 10 hit. To me, it's exactly the sort of thing the casuals lap up usually and I assumed LM were still over with the casuals enough to get an easy (and a 3 week at least) run in the top 10 (although the video coming about 3 weeks too late hindered that).

However, the predictions that this was a flop, literally less than 12 hours after release... was just ridiculous. Y'all didn't even give it a chance  Some of us over predicted, sure, but it's still gone on to be a hit (granted, not as big as I thought it would be - also, I'd heard this 2 days before release, so my predictions weren't based off of nothing)... whereas it's done anything but flop  ?

Now that we have EVERYTHING (airplay, video, discount on iTunes etc..) this is a nice hit for them. I'm intrigued to see if they continue trying to push this in a similar way to BUS to get it to avoid ACR or whether they will indeed move on in time for a new single to impact at the same time as The Search.

EDIT: Also, yes, TTH needs to stop ignoring them! :drama: But we know they're probably not going to be on there again anytime soon :(

I hope when they do announce a new single people already know about the album as that will spark more interest, another single with no word on the album would be a bit frustrating...

It will peak at #14 or #15 next week.

There’s not much new releases and there’s such a massive amount of songs due to hit ACR. It probably deserves to have a much higher peak

At least it’s still high up on Apple, I thought it was likely it would be pushed right down.

I’ll be happy if it peaks this coming week.

Vertical video is straight up on youtube which means Spotify rejected it.
