August 24, 20204 yr i'm under the impression the label werent that confident in his music he was making, so decided an EP release would be better. Ironically, this feels like a perfect blueprint for an album.

August 27, 20204 yr I have posted in this thread too much already pretty much just repeating myself, but I'm going to do it again. I am LOVING this EP. 'In A Dream' (the track) oddly took a while to grow on me, even though it was pretty instant for everyone else, but now it's my favourite on the EP. He's just so good. It's all so well produced, he sounds great and the songs are BOPS.
September 2, 20204 yr A bit late but this is a really excellent EP, my only real complaint is that it is only an EP - all 5 of the proper songs here are great so it just leaves me wanting so much more. Not helped by the fact that 60% of those were singles so the EP release was literally just 2 new songs and a fragment :lol: I feel like the EP release would have been a lot more rewarding / eventful if he'd only led it with one single or even just dropped it all at once (it's not like he's getting any traction from the singles anyway oops). Really have to commend his production choices all throughout this - particularly on 'Rager teenager!' and 'STUD' which both kind of sound like songs that I'd be immediately dismissing from most similar artists but their instrumentals are great enough to keep me interested. 'Easy' is definitely on course to be one of my favourite songs of the year :wub:

July 2, 20214 yr Finally watched this last night and I really enjoyed it! It was great to see the In a Dream songs brought more to life with some fantastic visuals; the run of STUD / Rager teenager (unfortunately a shortened version) and could cry just thinking about you (extended version *.* ) with queer imagery was so well done. He needs to release that extended version, it’s stunning. If only he was able to tour this EP, but he revealed in a Q&A that although he is itching to tour again, he still feels hesitant about leaving Australia and for now it’s a case of wait and see.

July 9, 20213 yr i saw him live in 2016/2017 and don't remember him being such a good live vocalist (in the sense of how similar to the record he sounds). This truly is lovely and elevates the original by miles.
