Everything's not Lost is amazing! The only one I remember to be honest...

but doesn't X&Y end with Til Kingdom Come?

Wikipedia listed it as a 'hidden track' (which I'm trying to avoid as they don't come as their own tracks on streaming, at least with these ones, I can put a disclaimer in), although apparently this is available on its own, so consider that edited~

I've just taken a listen and this is probably not gonna be our round  A lot of these are great, but so long and slowly building that I just can't see that translating to something people will vote for outside of the niche that would like that kind of thing (I see I'm not alone thinking this lol).

I think my own preference would be Up With The Birds or Death And All His Friends (although the latter again comes with a hidden track on streaming), just because they're a bit shorter and have more pay-off. I'll think about it some more tomorrow and may go with a majority in here.

just listened to Birds and yes looks like probably the best choice

Collaboration/Remixes

Hymn For The Weekend (SeeB Remix) or Princess of China imo

Up With The Birds stands out as probably the best choice there.

I guess it wasn't :deadbanana: at least I still like it a lot lol xo

Options for this round are a bit limited unless I'm forgetting stuff - I suppose 'Princess Of China' is the obvious choice.

I do want to mention 'E-Lo' from the Los Unidades project with Pharrell Williams and Jozzy as a ~curveball~ but I'm sure that'd probably go down like a lead balloon lol

What do you mean, there hasn't been a round since the first one no? x

Round 3: Collaborations / Remixes

So time for sellout Coldplay then. Princess of China is the obvious choice, very popular and I do recall the forum liking it, though I just never really know if that would translate to the voters here.

Hymn for the Weekend and A Sky Full of Stars SHOULD also count, but the artists aren't credited so I'm not sure if that would fly x I suppose I could ask if there's high demand.

Then...Something Just Like This with the Chainsmokers and Miracles with Big Sean but....let's not x

Alternative options are Lost+ which featured Jay Z or Fun with fellow representative, Tove Lo, which was an album track on A Head Full of Dreams. I liked them both, may not go down too well though.

I don't to my knowledge know any prevalent remixes but would be open to suggestions (ah I see Dexton has suggested one thanks x). Otherwise, I'd be behind Princess of China even if it isn't a big favourite.

Someone pls ban WhoOdyssey x

I've only ever actually listened to 2 of the songs from the Los Unidades EP lmao (idk why I never got around to hearing the other two), 'Timbuktu' being the other one which I also liked. x

I love something like this

I love princess of China too but hymn for the weekend *.*

ANYTHING but the f***ing Chainsmokers :puke:

Princess of China is the most likely SMASH, but if you want to get people discovering some of their more hidden gems, then Lost+ is an absolute favourite of mine

I actually forgot 'Lost+' existed but that would definitely be another good semi-curveball choice!

Really it's down to do you want to take the easy points or give people an actual discovery I guess :magic: I wouldn't blame you for doing the former after the disaster in round 2

('Princess Of China' is a great song tho, and I've always thought that despite being a Rihanna collab it's actually one of the less 'sellout' sounding singles from their recent albums, the song itself is not exactly typical pop Coldplay)

What do you mean, there hasn't been a round since the first one no? x

Lost+ is a great song but would absolutely flop here :nocheer: Fun would be an interesting choice, it was one of my favourites from the album at first and I still regularly play it

I do think other than Fun the only real choice is Princess Of China, Something Just Like This seems very hit & miss on Buzzjack and easily would fall below other tracks when people are making their rankings

I'd love Lost+ or Fun, Princess Of China would be a bit of a 'too safe' choice for me, though it's still great and would be way better than Something Just Like This.

love Princess of China, such a bizarre unorthodox song, lyrics, structure, everything is bonkers but it works

It's an 11/10 song

the Chainsmokers song on the other hand is a -1 :D

Round 4: Free Choice

Anything goes woop, FYI these are some notable hits from them that would only be eligible for only these free choice rounds (there's one more coming up later so at most two of these would be entered):

Trouble

The Scientist

Clocks

Viva la Vida

Paradise

A Sky Full of Stars

Hymn for the Weekend

These are slightly lesser known ones on my radar if we wanted to take a risk:

Lost!

Charlie Brown

Hurts Like Heaven

Midnight

Up & Up

-x-

I'd quite like something a bit more subtle than the last round, and we've had two straight choices from Mylo Xyloto so I'd like to leave that album for now. I'm feeling probably something from Rush... like The Scientist or Clocks, but I'd also be open to Lost! as that had quite a good response last round. I'd love to send Midnight, but that would go down like a lead balloon :')
