12 on USA Itunes! Can it go top 10 even for just ten mins

I thought she usually puts a stand alone version of the song on Itunes with the new graphics as Kylie fans love the pictures?

 

Will they release it stand alone Itunes tomorrow with the same pic used on Spotify? Or is it wishful thinking?

First listen, I fell in love with the production but was a bit like "hmm, this is going to take further listens because I was waiting for some big hook to latch onto", and immediately with the second listen, once I knew what I was in for, I really let it wash over and it's both euphoric and stunning. I'm gonna get a lot of mileage out of this, superb :wub:

I know what you mean, you do expect that big chorus moment but then it reveals itself as a series of hooks. I can't get over the production on this, it's like a glam / 80s electronic hybrid whilst sounding classic Kylie. Super excited for the album now!

 

I'm really relaxed with whatever chart performance this may have. The song is stunning and the album is sure to have a big #1 debut. The Top 40 peak for 'Dancing' was a mix of physicals and luck, like everything aligned just right for it. 'Say Something' will likely sneak a Top 100 debut next week and if it can show staying power on iTunes like 'Dancing' did, I'll be morethan satisfied. I don't think the Thursday release has really cost it anything.

 

FYI, 'Dancing' debuted with 8.2k (5.3k downloads) at #47, which would have placed it just in the Top 60 in last week's chart.

Wishful thinking, if they didn't do it straight away then I don't see the point in releasing the same song again, just as an individual download.

I kind or hoping no one else buys it now until midnight lol and hope it gets attention tomorrow like a normal Friday release

The more I listen to this, the better it gets. Such a glorious comback and it seems like everyone (on- and offline) is loving it!

I wonder where Say Something will chart at single sales tomorrow? It should be between 20 - 30. Next week we're going to miss those sales when it's about entering official top 100.

I think it'll be lower than that. Last week's sales #1 was 'Savage Love' with 5,788 downloads, so around 800 copies per day which I think is around what the ~#30 sells for the week. I'd guess Top 50/60 for Kylie.

I think they are missing a trick if they don't release it as a stand alone single tomorrow on Itunes. All Kylie fans will buy it just for the red lips artwork! Lol

 

Could do with a little play again on Zoe Ball tomorrow morning. Hope Lorraine will do a little segment or something maybe they will sit for video.

 

She should just get on as many radio stations as she can!
