Streaming sales are a joke u didn’t even have to play the whole album for it to count .

What are the chances she is going to overtake Roger Waters / Corey Taylor / BLACKPINK? I imagine the first two are quite front-loaded.

I think she’s just seen the midweek chart as she finally posted an IG story promoting the album and showing the good reviews. It bothers me that she doesn’t do enough on social media. Roísín has been working her ass off on IG.

 

By the way, so happy I got these two records ❤️

I'd be surprised if those four albums (Amanda, Pop Smoke and the other two) didn't pass her but is there a chance of her overtaking anyone?

I think you need a UK address / credit card in order to purchase from iTunes UK.

 

However, if you download the album from iTunes Italy, you will contribute to the Italian Albums Chart. ;)

Amanda sold 500 copies more than Melanie yesterday and is 1k behind with 4 days of sales to go and is even doing slightly better on streaming.

 

To be fair, Amanda had two of the biggest tv slots of the weekend so she'll partly be artificially boosted as well - we'll see if she can keep up as the week goes on.

 

What’s the best place to get the album this week for it to count this week? I hear ordering from certain sites and waiting for dispatch might not contribute to Friday’s sales?

 

I already have it from iTunes.

 

How about amazon mp3, HMV etc?

Mel has gone back up to #6 on iTunes good to see her rise again! One of them is a Now album so technically #5.

Downloading the album from the likes of AmazonMP3 will obviously count straight away, as it's a download. ;)

She has been number 1 on itunes and Amazon all day though and these sales are only to midnight last night. No doubt she is getting plenty of promo from her Heart show every morning too.

I see that HMV website doesn't have the CDs in stock during release week. :blink:

 

However, the distributor ProperMusic still has them available.
