Melanie C is #42 in this week's indie chart. Adele - '21' is at #43 sold 268 copies sold / BTS is #40 with 300 copies sold. That's just physicals and downloads btw - the indie chart doesn't include streaming. So Melanie C sold in between those two figures.

So minimum sales of 269 copies this week (so low sob sob), last week it was around the 400 mark was it? So on about 9.5k so far?

 

She really needs to get some price reductions done and get the deluxe version on iTunes. Release Into You or Self Love to radio and go on a radio tour (if she can - lockdown looks likely on Monday) promoting it and saying "it's on my deluxe album now on iTunes, HMV and streaming services etc." Make the deluxe tracks album purchase only I know plenty of fans would download it (I would) and may attract casual listeners.

 

Noticed she has a sticker on the new HMV copies of the album, so they clearly ordered another batch of albums. Need to get myself a copy, going to take a look when I go into town today! :wub:

The #100 album on the UK download album chart did 57 downloads in a whole week last week. So the #100 is averaging 8 sales a day and that is not taking into account that Amazon and 7 digital also sell downloads.

Considering she didn't even perform on the show, her appearance had a nice impact. Both the standard & deluxe versions of the album rose on Amazon UK.
