I do prefer 'Head & Heart' but I won't complain at 'WAP' finally overtaking it, as one of the better rap hits currently in the chart. Joel is still well ahead officially anyway.

And if TikTok had to make Conan Gray happen couldn't they have chose 'Maniac'? that was a semi-decent pop song but I'm not at all a fan of 'Heather'. I don't like 'You Broke Me First' or 'Mood' either, meh at them both now making the top 40. Pleasing to see 'Midnight Sky' already go back to its first-day peak though.

Same for me (and it won't let me search things or view albums/artists). I guess this evens out the seemingly-widespread outage a few weeks ago that didn't affect me :lol:

Seems to me that H&H is decreasing very fast on Spotify. The Drake reign might happen already on the week starting August 28 even if H&H is on SCR (if Drake's album is out then as rumored).

Spotify was down worldwide for 1 hour - now fixed.
Why are people so certain that Drake will be the next #1?! idgi

 

I thought asking the same but then I read that he is releasing album next Friday, so perhaps people are thinking it will draw big streaming numbers on release week. It could either be his new single or something else from the album depending if there is some huge collab names involved!!!

 

Or it could just have a moderate opening, who knows!!!

 

Wow WAP increasing still each day in streams, would be nice to see another number one achieved due to becoming more popular than the last big hit and not due to ACR like was happening last year.

 

Conan Gray also increasing a lot each update.

 

Is it just me or are hits increasing better and the chart is becoming quicker than previous years?

 

 

Only just noticed 24kGoldn making the top 40 today - blowing up super quickly and I'm not surprised, it's a really catchy song. Hope it is on course to be bigger than 'CITY OF ANGELS'! (It has actually already outdone that in the US debuting at #84 this week (and as high as #6 on Spotify now) while 'CITY OF ANGELS' surprisingly never even made it off Bubbling Under).

 

Wow at how quickly Conan Gray is rising too. Not heard this song yet so I can't really comment but I did like 'Maniac' so cool to see him getting some success ~

 

Looking at the other rising hits though, we could really do without Tate McRae and Saweetie getting big pls. Tate's song really just sounds like a very subpar Billie Eilish reject (maybe it'll grow on me but was unimpressed on first listen). And 'Tap In'... is another Dr Luke song lol ~ and a pretty trashy one at that (though it is also pretty catchy to its credit).

Cardi back up to #2 ahead of Drake on Apple. Think she has a real chance of getting #1 next week.
