Love Story becoming big again and overshadowing Taylor's actually really good new album would be one of the worst things TikTok has ever done though. x

maybe it’d be a hit again if they actually released the version they’re using in TikToks to streaming (the Disco Lines bootleg) - there is a version that seems to be ripping that version off which went top 40 on itunes so maybe the actual remix would be a hit.
Money Trees is charting in the US/NZ/AU at the moment, TikTok is exonerated.

It really isn't better than Juice Wrld's album :lol: . 50 Cent ruined it with his overused samples and ancient 2000s mainstream hip-hop sound. Its a pretty decent album dont get me wrong but doesn't compare to Juice Wrlds "Legends Never Die" - listen to Juice's more than a couple of times and you'll see what I mean... Pop was drill and this is not a drill album nor is it Pop's style - 50 didn't do him any justice!! <_<

Don’t think so, it’s showing signs of potential. Her team should be pushing to get it on Hot Hits.

DaBaby's deluxe album tracks haven't really made that much of a dent even on US Apple Music (where DaBaby is usually one of the most popular artists) - there seems to be diminishing returns for these kind of releases already, Lil Uzi Vert made it work (moreso in the US than the UK) but none of the various other similar releases since then have made even close to the same impact as that.

Lil Baby did have one song from his deluxe album that was a bigger hit than anything from Uzi (though that was more down to it being appropriated by TikTok than anything else) so I guess there's an argument to be made there, but the rest of the new songs by themselves didn't make that much impact. 'All In' stuck around on the Hot 100 for a few weeks as well but the rest iirc were only there low down for a single week with one of them missing out entirely, as compared to Uzi who charted every song from the deluxe on the Hot 100 and not really that much lower than the songs from the original album charted.

 

But as for the rest of these recent deluxe releases... NAV releasing one within days of the original album helped him secure a #1 album in the US I guess but none of the songs caught on at all (though neither did any from the main album really lol) and the deluxes from Gunna, Pop Smoke and Jhené Aiko all didn't land a single song on the Hot 100. DaBaby looks like he'll probably get one or two I'd guess from his current Apple Music positions.
