This would only be their 4th top 40 hit as a lead this year so far, but I agree it feels like so much more

how many hits have D-Block Europe had this year? I really lost count with so many releases like every 3 weeks :D

One week in the bottom half of the top 40 before free falling out the chart a couple of weeks later doesn’t really count as a hit imo

Why would I have to admit that?? They certainly don't in my opinion.

You are coming across as horribly sexist right now.

I was taking the mick because you said 'make' lol

It’s interesting that a few songs are doing really well without Hot Hits UK support.

Hallucinate #74

What’s Love Got to Do With It #66

Take You Dancing #64

Dancing in the Moonlight #30

I assume these are all being boosted by the Summer Hits UK playlist or TikTok

I think that could've been a little clearer :P I thought it was a bit strange from you!

 I really was look at my post I specifically said 'make' on purpose because Jack hadn't noticed his predictive text did.

On the broader question I don't know why EVERYTHING has to go back to gender and descrimination. We all know woman and other minorities don't play on a level playing field but it's not the fault of the two artists being pointed out.

What a hilarious joke. I didn't think it was too odd because you always gun for female artists and come across as horribly sexist in the majority of your opinions so seemed to be in theme!

It wasn't me who brought gender into the discussion though so maybe you should think of the way you constantly preach on about it. It doesn't help your aims!

It's funny how you allege that I always 'gun for female artists' though as maybe if you read all my posts on the site you would see that my favourite artist is Jessie Ware and her album is my favourite album of 2020. But yes you are right and if you look hard enough you will always find discrimination in everything and everyone that isn't actually there.

I think that’s a bit harsh - there’s members far worse than Steve that I’ve seen on this forum as being more sexist.

on Apple Music:

#8 Cardi B

#10 Paul Woolford & Diplo

#23 Bugzy Malone

#31 D-Block Europe

#33 Juice Wrld & The Weeknd (surprised it isn't higher)

#46 Popcaan - TWIST & TURN (feat. Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR)

Billie Eilish down to #42 already

I saw that, I was really surprised, so looks like they're bigger in the US

on UK Apple Music they just have 2 tracks in the top 1500 and both low at like 800-ish

Though they do perform at much bigger venues in the UK, so perhaps they sell more physicals over here to make up for that.

How's Lighter still at only 33 in Hot Hits UK even after having two weeks in top 5 ?

Can anyone explain this ?

Hot Hits are a mess. They often don't place hit songs high up until well after their peak.

exactly, they will placed it as track #1 in 12 weeks time when the song is on ACR :D

like this week for a few days they had Don't Need Love as track #1, which peaked ages ago

but the new single from Billie Eilish was track #55 or something,

same with Sam Smith and of course then they underperform in the charts

even Taylor, Cardigan was like track #30 or something on week 1 despite how massive Folklore was
