It is mostly The Weeknd influenced, but I do really like it. Hope it challenges for #1!

I actually really like this. I’ve tried to ignore the fact that Calvin is on it and pretend that it’s just a solo Weeknd song and I think that helps me enjoy it more tbh

Lounge bar music, extremely chill. Not a big commercial hit I would think (by their standards) but I'm liking it.

I'm quite liking it but I don't feel it's the best Calvin could've done with this sound, there were a few better tracks on Funk Wav Bounces, but maybe it'll grow on me.

Funk Waves Bounce, Volume 2 on the horizon?

I thought this might be a good dance track instead of a boring slow song. Not very good I’m afraid.

I keep listening to it because I'm forcing myself to try and like it since I really like both artists...but nope. Not happening :lol:

Oh it could almost be a low top 40 hit from 1985, it has that vibe to it. I quite like it although I agree with Dan G that Calvin can do better with this style of music in terms of production.

So in the First Look Chart on Sunday this was at #19 (I know data is missing), however in today's update it's now at #31 eep

Not this potentially missing the top 40 :mellow: Although I'm sure Calvin's not that bothered about chart performance I was expecting a lot more from name power alone even if it's not the strongest track they could've made.

Seems to be free falling on Spotify, it may even spend less weeks top 100 than Live Without Your Love at this rate.

I'd have bet my life savings on this not missing the top 40 in its opening week. Christ :drama:
