60% of One Direction have explored ventures within the dance music industry by lending their vocals to various songs in the last few years. With the exception of Harry Styles and Niall Horan, the 3 other lads have all collaborated with producers to try and broaden their chances of getting hits. Sometimes the choice has paid off but other times it has been a big flop. These are the results of their various projects up to middle of 2020;

Which of their current dance features is your favourite?

Which dance producers would you like to see them feature with in the future?

All these songs are very same in my honest opinion, they are all verging on pop music still and no artist has a stand out single to me, so after deliberating the quality I rated the songs like this;

3. Polaroid (Liam Payne with Jonas Blue & Lennon Stella)
4. Just Hold On (Louis Tomlinson with Steve Aoki)
5. Flames (ZAYN with R3HAB & Jungleboi)
6. Midnight (Liam Payne with Alesso)
7. Too Much (ZAYN with Timbaland)
8. Live Forever (Liam Payne with Cheat Codes)
9. Back To You (Louis Tomlinson with Digital Farm Animals & Bebe Rexha)

The quality of dance features haven’t been great in my opinion, which is why I wouldn’t hold out for any major producers making an approach anytime soon. I think Liam and ZAYN have the greater chance of success and so I’m predicting Liam may work with Seeb and ZAYN perhaps could record with Loud Luxury, but in all seriousness I don’t think they will continue to make featured appearances for much longer as their chart relevance continues to fade away.
