I think Katy is the favourite here sooo  she has the biggest fanbase obviously so she's bound to have a good chance at least

would be quite astonishing if Disclosure pulled off another #1 without releasing any pop/commercial singles

overall prediction - Katy #1 with new entries from Metallica, Disclosure, Gregory and Nines not far off

Disclosure didn't exactly light the singles chart on fire last era either (they had 'Omen' do moderately well but the other singles all missed the top 40) - the fact their last 2 singles this era still made the top 100 with very limited support seems like a good sign that their relevance has held up pretty well despite the long gap since the last album imo, I think they are being a bit underestimated, I could definitely see them beating Katy. Gregory Porter I'm not sure though, I'd probably say he is the favourite for #1 here.
Katy’s got bundles which she didn’t have for Witness, had lots of promo and very good PR atm. I think she’ll be #2 behind Gregory

Gregory can definitely do 25k so surely he'll be a number 1.

Katy is hard to predict. I think she can do 14-16k in first week but probably not more. And i'm afraid that she'll have a Brightest Blue type of chart run after that...

Disclosure will do 13-17k. Certain top 3 maybe even number 2.

Dua I can't see beeing a big contender but she should do 6-7k.

The Killers will have 7-8k. They can stay in top 5 but it'll be very close with Taylor, Pop Smoke and maybe some other new releases so i'm not 100% sure.

Didn't realise that Nines' new album was out this week too but yeah that should be a top 5 contender as well (his previous albums both did over 10k first week, the last one doing over 13k). Busy week all around.

Gregory Porter will take Number 1 comfortably.

Katy Perry should take Number 2 with 15,000 sales.

There is also an album from Internet Money out this week which is packed with high profile features - assuming it's eligible to chart I can see that maybe making the top 10/20. (I'm a little confused on what the entity 'Internet Money' even is, I think it is a collective of producers).

Judging by the first update x iTunes albums we all kinda under-predicted the Metallica live album, which is the highest out of all the newies on iTunes

at the moment...

2 Metallica

3 Katy Perry

4 Gregory Porter

6 Disclosure

7 PVRIS

8 Nines

33 Club Nostalgia :o

For reference, PVRIS' last album debuted at #4 in Aug'17 with 9,549 sales. Presume/hope that they'll break 10k with this one so wonder if they'll sneak into the top 5, or if the rest will be too strong.

New Releases on Apple Music:

1. Nines

7 + 34. Katy Perry

12. Disclosure

22. Dua Lipa

27. Metallica

29. PVRIS

65. Gregory Porter

An interesting week ahead then.

Gregory will have a paid sales advantage id imagine but streaming isn’t really his market.

Dua I think could climb. I wonder were Katy is combined maybe #3-4 or something?

really surprised if Metallica end up at #1... mostly cos this is S&M part 2

and part 1 peaked at #33 in 1999
