Lucky Man is so good, on par with Drugs and BS. Long runner in the chart at the end of 97/start of 98 so not a shock this is so high.

Common People and Alright sum up Brit Pop for me!

So our lastest sing is 1999 and earliest so far is 1993?

When did Brit Pop end and begin then?

That’s open to interpretation!

Y

Lucky Man is one of my fav songs ever, Ashcroft knew how to produce a great song.

So the lowest peaking track is Supersonic at 31?

Britpop is forever!

That’s open to interpretation!

Yeh I argue The Stones Roses sort of started the trend of new British bands using the acid scene to develop great pop music!

After Live Forever, this is my 2nd favourite Britpop song (I don't count A Design for Life as Britpop)

Peoples opinion on that will differ. For instance, I reckon the Zutons' first album from 2004 is pure Britpop

not sure if I'd count Edwyn Collins as Britpop myself

Song 2:

Number 2 in the charts,

Lasts 2 minutes,

Track 2 on Blur.

Perfect!
