I always felt that Elastica oozed coolness in a similar way to The Strokes. But neither of them back it up with tunes

love Connection... but come on skipping songs and then playing songs that didn't make the list doesn't make sense

for me Stereophonics were post-Britpop :D

If their aim is to play as many different bands as possible then it does make sense.

Connection is fab. Still played very loud at Duckie's Vauxhall right up to Lockdown killed live music off of all types.

Agree. As I mentioned earlier, it would be pretty much all Oasis otherwise.

I wonder if Travis will feature

Edit - no. none of their singles would have sold enough

Edit - WDIAROM

Stereophonics were the first band I properly got into in 98/99, listened to their first two albums so often, and they put on an entertaining show live. The Bartender and the Thief is an excellent song, glad it's been included - I certainly wouldn't discount them from a countdown like this. I lost most of my interest in them after about 5 albums as there's only so much of a sound you could need.

What timing  Not sure I'd count them as Britpop

Indeed. They were great at the start but ran out of ideas.

boo they skipped Why does it always Rain on me,

it's a great post-britpop track

OK any rundown that plays Trouble and not The Universal needs a Bishop Brennan.

I love Travis, but again errr not Britpop.
