Prodigy - Firestarter is a bit low on the list in my opinion. The Dodgy song might have been 'Good Enough' to have been a hit but such is the high standard of 90s indie and alternative it one of my least favourites of the genre, rather cheesy and twee so I wish it wasn't that high on the list.

Surprised Travis - Why Does It Always Rain On Me is so high in the list, I mean its a good song but not one of the best 90s indie/alternative sogns in my opinion, and Travis had a better song imo- Sing - in the early 00s.

My favorite in the top 10 is actually the Spin Doctors track, although the Verve track at #1 is very good.

Is this based on listener votes?

"Radio X's most played songs from the 90s - with stats provided by PPL." is what it says on the website - seems a strange way to decide!

More specifically, it's based on radio airplay of 90s songs (and not just Radio X airplay - which explains why there are only 2 Oasis songs in the top 10), but only including songs that Radio X have played at least once in the past year (I heard the top 10 as my parents had it on at dinner, where they explained).

14. Pulp - Disco 2000

13. Cornershop - Brimful Of Asha (Norman Cook Remix)

The riffs of these two are similar
