Reaffirming some faith in humanity, Big Sean's album tracks are doing significantly better than 6ix9ine's so far on Apple Music. The 6ix9ine album is getting near universally trashed even by his own fans so here's hoping it's really just not going to make any notable impact (at least beyond the first week).

6ix9ine's highest track is (unsurprisingly) 'LOCKED UP PT. 2' with Akon which is showing up twice at 346+347 (presumably a Kworb error), then his other tracks are at 436, 592+1285, 715, 794, 830, 1192, 1198 and 1303 with 4 songs not charting at all yet. Thankfully Akon is the only big name who's decided to lower himself to working with 6ix9ine this era (aside from Nicki ofc but she did that personal lowering a long time ago), the other features on the album are a mixture of nobodies and... a YouTuber ~ lol.

Yes, there's a mysterious gap between #22 and #24 in the Top 50 playlist!
I think it does that anytime a song is unavailable in the country you're in, even if you have the 'show unavailable songs' setting enabled. For example, there's no #2 in the Sweden top 50 for me (it should be Carola & Zara Larsson - Säg Mig Var Du Står which is unavailable here).
Poor DJ 4rain just having his song straight up deleted from Spotify instead of just the fake streams being uncounted. :deadbanana:

Calvin only now going top 40 after being around 70 all of last week, how odd, but bodes well for him sticking in the official top 40 next week I guess.

That Punctual song is a Mario Winans dance cover that we don't need being a hit, hopefully it doesn't properly take off.

Good to see Sigala comfortably top 100 already, only a matter of time before he is top 10 I think.

Glad 6ix9ine isn't having too much of an impact also, I can't see that Locked Up Pt. 2 having much longevity anyway.

So it's due to perceived lack of musical quality rather than the actions of said individual? Although I do note that the other half of said collaboration does have some of the latter in their past.

Miley and Tate McCrea continuing to rise which is nice - are they being playlists?

 

Also ‘Giants’ continuing to rise, wonder if it could break the official top 40?
