Did not expect RHCP to be one of my first 10 nominations out :o but still a good showing for them. Scar Tissue is my fave of theirs, followed by Under The Bridge, and then Wet Sand (off Stadium Arcadium).

Daft Punk and Linkin Park are bands I like a lot too.

Daft Punk are overrated imo.

RHCP are good.

Linkin Park are brilliant, would have liked them top 50

A great trio there, all three have a ton of classics to their name (actually have to think hard about what my fave song from each of them would be - I think I'd say 'Californication', 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' and 'What I've Done' respectively but each of them has at least 2 or 3 others that come close rather than having a single overwhelmingly best song for me!)
Linkin Park and Red Hot Chili Peppers were both very much favourite of mine when I was about 13 and are probably the two bands of that kind that I'd most likely listen to now, but outside of about 15 songs each (mainly on By The Way and Hybrid Theory) not much I care about - Stadium Arcadium one of the worst album purchases I've ever made.

To be fair Stadium Arcadium did have some great songs on it, the album just suffered from being too long. If they'd have shortened it to one disc with the best 13 or 14 songs it would have been an incredible album!

Tomorrow we'll recap of 51-100 and reveal how many acts each voter has left in the top 50!

Can't beat a bit of Backstreet Boys... I actually had their Greatest Hits on in the car yesterday, there's some absolute tunes on it. Max Martin and Denniz Pop at their best

Gorillaz had some good but no thanks to The xx.

The xx would have been very near the top for me, 3 out of 3 near flawless albums from them to date (and they'll always hold a special place in my heart for being the first concert me and Jade went to together). The solo stuff from Jamie and Romy this year has been good but that fourth group album can't come soon enough! Love me some Gorillaz too ~
Ouch two huge favourites of mine falling out there in the form of The xx and Gorillaz! I've been lucky enough to experience both live - two very different shows  but both fantastic in their own way. The new Jamie and Romy songs we got this year are tiding me over well but I hope it won't be too long until we get album #4 from The xx!

Love The XX, just missed for me but one of the best bands of the last decade, their debut is incredible

my favourite song of theirs is this instrumental called Intro, might be the best instrumental song ever :o

Gorillaz I like but don't love

Backstreet Boys for me are a monstrosity to say there least :D wouldn't even call it music :D

So close to getting 20 of my nominations in the top 50! Even so, The Supremes are a lot higher than I thought they might be. For me they were the best all-vocal group ever, female or otherwise. Favourite songs: You Can't Hurry Love, Stop In The Name Of Love, Where Did Our Love Go.

I didn't even know this was a thing eep.

WHERE ARE THE SATURDAYS.

I DEMAND A RECOUNT (unless they're still to come).✌️
