His profile got a boost when “Cuddly Toy” was used in the opening credits of the Alan Partridge film (it was the first time I’d heard of him despite his previous success), so could be related to that.

I think the Roachford albums that did nothing 10 years ago were in a small US hiphop label

now he's on a big label (BMG) and at least he's got R2 support
