First time I watched the video yesterday I thought they meant last song ever.

Watching it today though, I hear it as 'it's our last / most recent song'

why are they announcing it as a hiatus when they are telling all fans they are splitting up

 

get those extra 125 sales and announce a break up (song) x

I feel like it’s pretty much a break up...

 

But we all know they’ll come back with a tour and some new songs one day...

 

Potentially never having chart success now though as a band which is devastating for us fans.

Do we know that? We all want them to, but there's a real chance they never will. What seems obvious though is that their friendship will remain.

'Real chance' based on what? As has been pointed out dozens of times 99% of pop groups get back together. Little Mix have been the most successful pop group the UK has ever seen (yes, I'm going to say this over Spice Girls because I'd say 10 years of success from a reality TV show in the streaming era is insane) and also have one of the closest, most genuine friendships too.

 

There's no way that in a few years after they do their solo thing and they miss the buzz of performing to arenas and getting massive cheques that they won't do a reunion tour. They can say whatever they like now. I believe that Perrie and Leigh are definitely over the group and want a break (and I don't blame them) and probably think they're done and want to put Little Mix to bed for good but even if Charlie can go back to Busted and Pussycat Dolls can get back together and Robbie can join Take That again then Perrie, Jade and Leigh can do something down the line. :lol:

Apparently the last show is going to be broadcast in Empire Cinemas across the UK! Hasn't been confirmed by the girls yet but it's on the Empire Cinemas website and the OCC have posted about it too!

Yes i agree they have every reason to get back together. But sometimes the groups with the strongest bonds are the ones that never reunite musically. Destiny's Child is a good example (They've reunited on stage a few times but not had an actual tour/new material). Surely they'll still be hanging out together from time to time.

I'm not saying they will, neither am I saying they won't. It's all about managing expectations to avoid disappointments, and enjoying this tour as though it's the last one ever. Nobody knows the future.

 

Errrm, no, we can't compare their success with the Spice Girls'. Yes, longevity-wise, they've been impressive (In the UK in particular), but that's about it.

This! I was tempted to seek it out at a local cinema before realising it clashes.

You can still buy the tickets and stream for up to 48 hours later! (But if you wanted the cinema experience for it, I'm not sure there is another alternative </3)

 

I hope this means we'll get a DVD/Blu-Ray release of this tour. I doubt it, but I hope so!
