Eliminated song number 4 is Gwen and Akon's 2007 hook-up 'The Sweet Escape' which served as the second single to Gwen's sophomore solo album of the same name. The song was released in March 2007 and became Gwen's highest-charting solo hit to date - peaking at #2 where it stayed for a fortnight behind Take That's 'Shine' and Girls Aloud & Sugababes' 'Walk This Way'. I'm glad this has fallen out early here. Annoying, underwhelming and an example of where an artist scores their biggest hit with one of their less good songs. :kink:
