What do you think would be better for Kylie: every format counts the same or if the charts would focus on how much money an album makes?

I think charts for older acts like Kylie are of little importance - if she sells the same amount of physical but enters at #1 or #2 due to streaming it doesn’t matter as she and her record company will still earn the same amount of money.

TBH I think they know the hype with cassettes is over - you can still get the ‘Golden’ Christmas edition plus 3 of the SBIT cassettes are still available too - releasing one is more than enough of a defunct format, rather than throwing more out they should just sell the one they have for £4.99.

Ya the cassette novelty is dying away and it's a format that is harder to milk the fan's with.

This, most artists are just using it now as a cheap format to boost sales by selling it for cheap or adding it to a bundle to drive numbers up.

Fans enjoy having a cassette version for collection purposes but in most cases don't have a cassette player to use the format.

The vinyl and cd physicals actually get played.

I stream but enjoy playing the actual cd.

Cassette is novelty and collection purposes, people dont have cassette players anymore, I wonder will cassette players make a comeback now that more artists are releasing cassettes.

That said....

We would not mind Kylie sending out 5 extra cassette variations on release week would we... £7 each, all 5 for £28

New promo single out on Thursday.

Looking at HMV pre orders she is doing well

Still think Little Mix should do it quite easily but Kylie should get some good sales

It's now 5 copies for me (4 will count towards week 1)

Signed Standard CD

Deluxe CD [Official Store's book size version]

Cassette

Turquoise Vinyl [Amazon]

Black Friday Double Vinyl [Amazon - but this won't count towards week 1]

I didn't intend to buy a standard CD, but obviously a signed copy swayed me into purchasing

So far

Download

Signed Standard CD.

The 2 vinyl singles

Waiting to see what else comes around .

Of course streaming on Spotify non stop

Oh I ordered the two vinyl singles too, although my sales for those don't count towards Disco (I bought them individually, not with a download)

Here’s my cost for everything (excluding postage!) -

Super Deluxe Bundle (2 x Vinyl, 2 x CD, Cassette) £65

HMV Vinyl £19.99

Amazon Vinyl £19.99

Amazon Black Friday Vinyl £26.99

Deluxe CD (Standard Version) £14.99

Total £146.96

I’ll also get the Japanese Edition when it’s released - they usually sell for around £25.

I actually think I spent more on SBIT - the full cassette package was £75 and that was without everything else.

I now have..... 7 x signed CDs coming seeing as some have a heart on and others say ‘Love’ I need one of each!!
