Im a fan of both and would love both to get a number 1 so hopefully one of them change their release date although unlikely. But i think Gary will sell more than Steps, it may also depend on how many different formats each are releasing, streaming wise neither will do all that great.

Gary might have the biggest opening of 2020.

My aim for Miley would be to debut top five but I can see her possibly repeaking next year depending on how big her Dua collab is and anything following that!

 

I wonder if Gary will move to the following week especially as he will be a huge cd seller ?

 

Steps could even debut at midweeks #1 with the amount of time their album has been up for pre-order but think they will probably struggle throughout the week to remain stable!!

Except for the fact Supermarkets didn’t stock new releases last lockdown as they moved their focus over to essentials (hence the big drop in physical sales as the lockdown continued).

I think this race might be closer than people think now. Steps are no1 on iTunes and have had a couple of singles out including something in your eyes which appears to have helped album preorders considerably. Gary has had two songs out but neither have made much of an impact to date and the style is quite different to his usual.

Erm wow that looks promising for Steps! I said Gary for the obvious #1 but I pray and hope Steps sneak it through, would love for them to achieve a #1 album in 4 different decades! I'm not a fan of Gary Borelow he can do one. Miley Cyrus could be a threat she will surely get the biggest streaming numbers!?

The cassette boxset is actually 6 cassettes as it includes one with all 5 members on it, so potentially 6 sales. I'm so tempted to buy it but what would I do with it? :lol:

 

Has Gary got a tour announced? Steps were flogging their album pre-orders on ticketmaster for £7 with a concert ticket... I assume they count towards the chart?
