Posted October 4, 20204 yr Ok so I’ve decided I’m going to listen to every single one of Kylies albums over the next few weeks and I’ll do a take on how I’d rank them (similar to how I did with Girls Aloud and Britney). DISCO her upcoming album I think I’ll actually include as part of the rank as I’ll be about as familiar with that as I will be pretty much every album on here as a whole. So this is a predictions / discussions thread. I think I’ll start in order and go in order of release. I know it’s classed as studio album but I won’t be ranking her Christmas album as part of this as I don’t think it’s fair to compare a seasonal album to albums what you can listen to all year around. October 4, 20204 yr I spent a lot of lockdown discovering her earlier albums. I stopped (and never returned to them) since returning to work but I'm going to get back into them seeing this thread and continue my ranking. Excited to see how your opinions go and I will be following this thread for the duration :dance:

October 4, 20204 yr Author I honestly don’t even have a set album in mind of what could be my favourite. I was pretty sure before I started the Britney one what would be my favourite and it turned out that album only ranked mid table for me in her discography! I’m definitely excited for this though. I do own Fever, Body Language and X but as whole albums it’s been a long while since I heard those so pretty much everything bar her singles will be a bit of a new discovery. Excited to see where DISCO will rank alongside these too!

October 4, 20204 yr Author Will this be your first time listening to Kylie's PWL work? It’ll be my first time hearing them as whole albums but I’m familiar with her singles :). Also for compares sake if anyone else has rankings of her albums feel free to post them in here to compare if our faves / least favourites end up being the same :D

But I’ll do like a review of each album too. DISCO might even end up being part of this tbh as there is quite a few to get through

October 12, 20204 yr Author I’ve already begun my listens. But I’m not gonna do my ranking until I’ve heard them all. Maybes like a month from now to include DISCO on there too? As I’ll be listening to a lot of the albums on this list for the first time In full anyways I think I’ll just start it the week on or after DISCOs release. And include that on the list. The only studio album I won’t be including on here is the Christmas album as it’s seasonal and can’t really be compared to the other albums fairly so yeah studio albums only no live albums greatest hits or other compilations. So far I’ve heard her first two albums in full :P. I’ll be aiming to try and do two or three albums a week but depending on my hours etc it could be more or less. But yeah sometime soon there’ll be a list it’s a definite aim :lol:

October 25, 20204 yr Author This is becoming so enjoyable (and on occasions difficult as well in terms of ranking) I’ll be scoring every studio album out of 100. Trying so hard to not hint at anything but this will likely commence from the 13 Nov onwards a week after DISCO drops as I imagine her forum will be very busy during release week.
November 3, 20204 yr Author I’ve got 4 albums left now (Aphrodite, Kiss Me Once, Golden and DISCO). Timed pretty well tbh so that when it gets to Friday I’ll actually be hearing Disco on release day if I go by the one album a day from now till then. I’ll start counting down from like the 13th though. Give the forum a week to go crazy about the new album first :wub:
