November 8, 20204 yr How can we watch this is it online too? I’m guessing the main show starts at 8pm Uk time too? It’s not all that clear on the MTV site.

November 8, 20204 yr Not the girls fault but the social distancing/green screen/audience on screens/canned audience noise/pre-recorded performances/Jesy missing stuff make this a real weird event to watch.
November 8, 20204 yr Yeah, not loving the layout of this. I feel like I am watching one of those random tv shows you find on channel 203 broadcasted from Eastern Europe

Right? I love them but because it has to be so rigid it's coming across as a bit... awful. Not to mention Jesy is literally their biggest personality, hosting would be something second nature to her I imagine. They're not doing awful, like they're great with the material given and climate we're in, but with no actual magnetism with other acts and stuff, it's a bit beige.
November 8, 20204 yr I can’t get over the set it’s horrendous. I think they’re doing great all things considered it’s more the actual set/canned cheers and the pre-recorded performances that are throwing it all off. Also, why does Sam sound absolutely terrible The vocal is really Poor. Edited November 8, 20204 yr by Mr. C. Joel
November 8, 20204 yr (What do they actually do then if other people are announcing some award winners?)
November 8, 20204 yr And who's the random male voice over introducing the award presenters and nominees? Couldn't the girls do that too as the hosts? Lol
November 8, 20204 yr ...host? :kink: It's just like the BRITs or Grammys or whatever. But what does the host actually do then? Anne-Marie just announced two awards in a row and some other girl announced one earlier, and there's a male doing voiceovers. And the fake crowd noise completely drowned out Perrie announcing this performance.
November 8, 20204 yr Leigh-Anne: "And hopefully next year, we'll be coming to you from Hungary..." I love making assumptions and jumping to conclusions

And the fake crowd noise completely drowned out Perrie announcing this performance. They say what the next award is going to be and introduce whoever is presenting it and usually say something funny in between. Don't know if the EMAs do this but they might chat to some of the winners or something.

And the fake crowd noise completely drowned out Perrie announcing this performance. Links everything together... It’s not coming across properly because of the format. This is VERY different to the usual EMA’s
November 8, 20204 yr Have you all never watched an awards show before? They always have the voiceover and different presenters and they go back to the host from time to time. Edited November 8, 20204 yr by Court
November 8, 20204 yr I think they’re doing just fine This is a huge opportunity for them - I’m enjoying seeing them host a big awards show
November 8, 20204 yr They’re doing amazing it’s just getting used to the green screen and the format because of Covid. Buzzing for the performance though...It looked amazing in the clips.
