January 1, 20214 yr very excited but it feels like there’s a LOT to cram in which doesn’t fill me with confidence that everything will get the focus it needs.
January 1, 20214 yr The Radio Times’ review seems to suggest it’s all VERY character driven and the Daleks end up feeling like the least important thing about the episode... kinda disappointing but hopefully there’ll still be some action from them 😔
January 1, 20214 yr I suspected something would have to go :lol: We haven’t really had a proper Daleks invasion story since The Stolen Earth. You could count Victory of the Daleks but they essentially create new models of themselves and then run away! Every other time since it’s just been the one Dalek, they’ve been cameos or they’ve been chilling on Skaro.

January 1, 20214 yr Probably the most solid episode of Doctor Who of the shaky Jodie Whittaker era. Great to see John Barrowman back. Now interested to see whether John Bishop is a new companion. Would be an interesting dynamic.
