Leonardo DiCaprio. Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Matthew Perry and Tomer Sisley are joining this ensemble that also includes the previously announced Rob Morgan. McKay will write, direct and co-produce along with Kevin Messick under McKay’s Hyperobject Industries Banner. The film follows two low-level astronomers who embark on a media tour to warn mankind of an approaching asteroid that will destroy Earth. What a cast :cheeseblock:
October 14, 20204 yr Adam McKay is behind the hits: 'Vice', 'The Big Short', 'Anchorman', 'Step Brothers' etc.. The former 2 being his most recent movies and getting widespread award notice. Absolutely can not WAIT for this! Leonardo is my absolute fave actor. Meryl is an all time legend with Cate Blanchett. Jennifer Lawrence is the first major actress to take off in the social media era (well in terms of having a massive following & being the topic of conversation - she's the earliest kind of social media star I can think of?), so any kind of news relating to her and Timothee Chalamet (who I legit see as the male alternative - MASSIVE following) is going to bring eyes to this. Throwing Ariana's name into the ring... this is Film Twitter's ultimate dream. (It's only missing Saorise Ronan & Zendaya tbh)
