It’s each to their own though. I didn’t like Real Groove at first, but lately it’s really grown on me, and then this remix sort of tarnished it for me haha. I would listen to it first, I feel like it’s going to be a polarising remix.

 

But it's nearly the same as what Kylie and Dua sang on Studio 2054 and everyone wanted it released so they have......perfect. it's a remix of a Kylie Disco Track, perfectly fine

 

Support it and who knows what could happen between the two in the future

At worst this is going to attract a new audience that may not be Kylie fans via streaming and they could check out Disco etc., - the fact that it’s a quiet time of year for new releases could really work to its advantage too, I’m not expecting it to race up the charts but it could make an appearance in the Top 100 and overall give a boost to Disco which is ultimately always BMG’s aim with any single release.

Real Groove would not even go top 100 on itunes never mind official chart top 100 without new remixes,edits, EP streaming etc as everyone has it on the albums they already have.

i will have both the orginal and Studio 2054 version streaming and when a club mix comes out probably i will use that too.

It's a really good version not sure if I prefer this or the original but as I said before real groove was the song on the album that really felt like if it was released by a chart relevent act it would be a big hit.

I really like this remix. My fave remix of the DISCO era so far! The disco dance break is everything :heart:

 

I would've liked more Dua on it, but she probably had no time to write and record a new verse.

 

As far as I can tell from the instrumentation, this is a different version than what was in the Studio 2054 show. The show basically used the album version instrumental, with house beats mixed around it. This remix has a new bassline, new strings, new guitars, and probably a few more details in the mix.

The infinite choir version of say something is my gave remix by far from Disco as i just love it but this is the second best remix from the era.

BMG used Real Groove on New Music Friday for the album release. Not sure the remix will feature highly if at all on Fridays New Year's Day New Music Friday.

8 on Australian iTunes and it's only very early Morning their and neither have sent a tweet out yet.

 

I think it will go top 5 on iTunes in both Australia and UK and may do ok in US too if she sings it on the NBC promo

It's a remix of a Kylie Disco Track to get her new song some extra streams when it is released etc. Like a Purple Disco Remix or a F9 remix.

 

She sings on it hence her name and it's from their Collab for Duas Studio 2054 remix that we all watched.

 

Fans loved that little moment on the Studio 2054 and so they have released it
