Tbf I doubt Kylie really cares whether she peaks at #95 or #85 :P

Exactly - hence the amount of effort also put in from the fanbase

Down to #53 in the midweek update.

No surprise - really hoping it can snatch a week T75 but seems unlikely after that tumble.

It's actually two days, the #20 update was Sunday!

It's sold 3,999 so far this week. (It had sold 3,575 to be #20 on Sunday).

3,367 vinyl (which is interesting, that's so much higher than the UK vinyl sales for Say Something and Magic)

485 streaming

147 downloads

Ultimately, I estimate that Real Groove could achieve 1,100 streaming for the whole week. 3,367 vinyl, that's unlikely to change if it's all already been accounted for. The download sales trend is hard to estimate considering yesterday's sales would have been stronger than usual... but let's say it'll be 200.

That would result in 4,667. I definitely think 4.6k - 4.7k is a feasible total for it this week. Comparing today's midweeks to last Tuesday's midweeks, it seems like Friday's chart will require 4,600+ for #100. So it certainly seems like this is going to come down to the wire. Every download and extra streaming could stand to make all the difference! It really needs 5k to have a chance of out-peaking #95.

The problem with engaging the fanbase, as noted, is that the artists aren't promoting it... and honestly, "let's campaign to get it Top 100!" is probably not exciting for most fans lol. Little Mix's fanbase went into action because of its chance of reaching #1.

Down to the wire it will be

Real Groove needed somethimg else this week to secure a Top 100 placement.

If more vinyls are shipping today, they won't have been included in the sales to date which will help.

More UK fans getting the Real Groove vinyl than Say Something and Magic likely means some Dua Lipa fans got their purchase in early to secure a copy.

^ Real Groove vinyl sales were already included in Sunday's first look chart, when none of the copies had been shipped (they're all shipping today). That suggests that when it comes to chart sales, the sales are counted when orders are marked as being completed/processed, not when the items are actually dispatched.

The annoying thing with the vinyl releases is that even with 3k+ of Real Groove sold within the UK, I know that some UK fans still missed out on placing an order. BMG really do limit themselves unnecessarily! Real Groove's sales suggests that Magic and Say Something had the potential to sell far more than 1,923 and 2,525 respectively. If Magic had sold 3,367 vinyl here, it would have peaked at #41 (which would have been a very frustrating peak lol) but still, that's better than #53.

They should make 10,000 available as all would sell.

Number 53 and halfway through the chart week is good.

There is a chance that a few surplus vinyl will become available today/tomorrow - always seems to happen after the shipping date for any cancelled orders or ones where payment has not gone through so potentially a handful of extra vinyl sales this week.

Excellent sales for the vinyl though and interesting that they restricted Australian fans from buying it from the UK store and released a batch for them later on - could be why there are more UK sales this time?

It just goes back to them ultimately not caring about singles chart positions, they obviously pull in a profit on 5k and know they will all sell with no losses.

They could easily sell more but could also be left with stock, I guess it makes better business sense to produce an amount they know will sell out rather than making extra just to get a 38-out chart run?

I believe they could make a profit and easily sell through on 10,000.

Many fans are missing out and increasing to 10,000 would service the fanbase more aptly.

5000 availability sells out so quickly.

I never expected real groove to ever get as high as 20 in any of the midweeks, i was half expecting 53 where it is today to be about its peak so im still really happy with how its doing, its going to be awful close though whether it stays top 100 or not, i really hope it does.

Come through Kylie and give us that new #94 peak :kink:

I’m just happy we’ve had 3 charting singles this era tbh - quite a feat for an act like Kylie :cheer:

Ya even as it is we have 3 charting singles which is brilliant, plUs magic and say something all managed more than a week on the chart so hopefully real groove will manage it aswell, once this week passes we might get further info on dance floor darling Getting a vinyl etc and we can then concentrate on pinning our hopes on a 4th top 100 (greedy i know on my side)

Really hope we get a vinyl for DFD but I’m guessing it might not happen which screws up having all the singles on physical format this era :nocheer:

Im hoping they will just so we can complete the collection from Disco, they could change things up and give us a cd single this time which may be faster to produce at the moment.
We are due another release for streaming so maybe we get Dancefloor Darling radio edit Thursday or Friday? It's been 2 weeks on radio playlists.

I half thought there might be some social media plugging for real groove by Kylie but i think outside shipping the vinyul they have moved on from real grove now.
