The build-up to 'Who Attacked Ian?' isn't interesting me at all, but I will take a guess and say Calum will be the culprit. It plays into the good cop/bad cop thing and provides more angst for him and Ben, but ultimately he'll be safe as their toxic relationship will continue to pollute the show as way of pandering to the Twitter mob. Someone like Tina will probably take the fall for it.

So if it supposedly happens some time next week, I’m assuming we can count Dotty out? She’s barely been on screen since return week and now she’s off to see Dot, who I assume is still in Ireland. This means either her trip there will be stupidly short or they’ve just dropped her from the Ian storyline.

I think they've quietly got rid of Dotty for good.

 

And yes, it seems like the attack happens next week - the vague synopsis for the Friday episode suggests it occurs then.

I dont like Dotty at all so if she is gone or goes i wouldn't be bothered, i wonder can they persuade June Brown to come back for an on screen exit now that we mentioned Dotty, i think for a character that was such a huge part of the show it would be nice to see her return if even briefly.

The writing for Peter is diabolical atm. They really made him jealous of Bobby for having mental health issues?

Peter hasn’t been a good character since Thomas Law played him. This Peter has so many issues especially his direction. I can’t understand why he’d return and I don’t understand why he’s sponging off his family and then moaning about them in the same breath.

 

And they better not bring Lauren back.

For me the Beales are all been written terribly at the moment.

This Peter is really frustrating to watch. I liked Ben Hardy's portrayl but the writing (and acting) for this incarnation is trash.

I hope Dotty hasn’t been written out for good I really like her.

I’m still a bit disappointed at how Chantelle’s death has had practically no lasting impact yet she got a brilliant final episode but I think we needed to see her onscreen family grieve for her a lot more. Intrigued to see how Gray is exposed. Is it possible it’s Shirley who works it out or maybes Whitney?

Killing of chantelle so far was a huge mistake, zero impact, and not handled all that well since her final scene, im enjoying the kat and phil scenes i have to say and mick is doing my head in at the moment.

Mick has always been a shit husband, Linda should have gotten out ages ago.

Got to admit I did quite like Ian getting one over on Max like that. I bet Bobby heard it all though, kinda worried he'll end up being the culprit now, although nothing will come of it as his OCD will probably be used to excuse it; the writers have only paid lip-service to it so far and they're only interested in plot, plot, plot.

Ugh, I’d hate it if it was Bobby. I thought they were steering clear of stuff like this for him.
