Linda can survive without Mick and Kellie is one of the show's best actresses although I would not be surprised to see Max returning to couple them off.

The Panesars are missing something, their storylines lack the big moments that make storylines and characters memorable.

I feel now is a time to introduce new and fresh characters and Danny's pay cheque will pay the wages to new additions.

I hope its none of them, Linda may just do it alone when she comes back but ideally they will bring in fresh blood just like they did when the Carters took over.
Ronnie and Roxy being axed was the biggest mistake in Eastenders in recent years

Production has now moved to the new EastEnders set as of this week. Not really sure when that'll translate onscreen and whether it'll look any different but we shall see.

Frankie will also return in a couple of months following Rose's Strictly win

It really made no sense at the time and even less so since it happened, i don't see how the decision in any way benefited the show.

I can't believe that within 12 months they pointlessly killed off Ronnie, Roxy, Steven & Abi. Seriously wtf was going on behind the scenes back then to generate those ludicrous decisions?

Biggest mistake since killing off Pat when Pam St Clement asked for a break- the single worst decision the show has ever made.

Def agree about Pam St Clement as she would be still on the show now, maybe on reduced hours but she was such an iconic character and killing her off was an awful decision. I also agree about Abi, they could have done so much with that character as she was very unpredictable.
Pam and Les should have never been axed. I say it time and time again.
It made no sense axing them and then bringing in Ted and i think Joyce was his wifes name who just never worked in the show at all, they should have kept Pam and Les and worked on scripts for them but its great Pam does occasional appearances as she is a great character.

So like we needed any confirmation, they’ve announced Mila is leaving but the most awkward part of the DS article about it is that it’s mostly about Danny Dyer leaving.

Poor Mila, you tried hun.

Not sure why Janine is so desperate to have Scarlett back when she possesses such a dull personality.

I love Stuart and Rainie.

More bomb/terrorism storylines. EastEnders really has lost the bloody plot hasn't it!!

I haven't seen tonight's episode but thought they'd handled this storyline quite well until now

It's been confirmed today that ITV is shifting its evening programming meaning EastEnders will be up against Emmerdale or Corrie every night it airs. Reckon they'll respond by putting it at 7pm?

BBC Three will be airing repeats at the weekends.

Apparently the sun is reporting a return for

Sam Mitchell played by Kim Medcalf.

The sun are usually always correct with soap spoilers and there are actual quotes from the actress.

I’m down for it! Loved her portrayal of the character, especially in their final year.
