Kathy to Ben: "you're one of the good ones"

As if the police wouldn't have seized the CCTV immediately.

Another death fake-out. Phil swinging a baseball bat around.

Tbf I am glad Stuart didn't end up killing DCI Thompson and it was refreshing if nothing else to see someone not intimidated by Phil.

The show is a mess but Suki is wonderful and the rounders quip made me laugh out loud

Suki is carrying the show right now. I too am glad Thompson isn’t dead as all that on Tuesday was just too weird-but Stuart burned his clothes? So no one noticed a naked man breaking out of the undertakers? And none of the undertakers noticed they were carrying an empty coffin?
I’m not even mad at Linda for having an affair. Mick has been such an awful husband for so long, I’m surprised it’s taken this long.
how could they want so much sympathy for one character not a lot of people even care about :frankie:

That Mick and Linda kiss was awful, they were clearly miles apart.

I see Karen is really distraught about spending her first Christmas without Chantelle.

Literally no one has even noticed Chantelle is dead tbh.

Bernadette has probably died too tbh.

This. I've seen extras more often than Bernadette.

Also, Stuart has been spending the last few episodes worried because he thought he killed DCI Thompson and then discovers he's actually alive, yet still he finds the time to audition as Santa?

Are they really going to systematically ruin Linda's character just to give Mick yet MORE sympathy as if anybody cared about the anxiety, abuse or anything else he's faced?!

They continually do this to Linda to make Mick look saintly. It’s almost as sexist as Michael claims the show to be whereas I think it’s just because it’s Danny f***ing Dyer.

As of yet, the death of Chantelle was totally pointless.

The Taylor's have had so little on screen time since she died.

Linda one of the best characters on the show and actresses is been destroyed for the sake of the awful Mick.

I was going to ask whether it is worth getting back into EE after drifting away from it since Chantelle's death... just reading this last page alone tells me not to bother. Is it really that bad and is there anything exciting happening over Christmas?

Apparently on New Years Eve, Mick

Contemplated suicide and phones Samaritans.

I will not be able to sit through this unless there is some sort of reflection about how his eldest son was feeling four years ago. I will simply be too angry otherwise.

Good lord. I'm so close to stopping watching once again, this'll be the third time in so many years; I'm just hanging on with hope that something epic is planned for Christmas

I jumped out my skin when Bernadette appeared, never expected to ever see her again. And some actual aftermath of Chantelle’s death, I started wondering if I was watching the right show.

The Ian storyline is hopeless though. It’s completely run out of steam and no one at all will be surprised when Sharon is revealed as the attacker on Christmas Day.

The only reason to watch is Suki to be honest, she steals the show in about 5 seconds no matter what she's doing but the rest of it is borderline excruciating, there's just nothing to care about or be invested in, anything that is happening is either deathly dull or predictable.
