Yes  maybe she needs a bit longer so I can remember her name
Stacey’s Baps sent me

Are they pushing a reunion back with her and Martin do we think?

I can see a Stacey and Martin reunion on the horizon.

Not this continued character assassination of Linda when she’s not even on screen.

I assume it's just all to play up to Mick's exit which will then result in her return. In all honesty, it's her own fault? She slept with Max, couldn't deal with it so ran away, started drinking again after one push from Janine and disowned Nancy and the rest of the family over the New Year. She's been written to be the bad person yes but that hasn't come from nowhere. She has her troubles which they're portraying her as not being able to deal with.

But this has been going on for years. Linda has always been written as the bad person to prop Mick up. Right from the start, they had her having issues with Johnny’s sexuality that in hindsight don’t make any sense. Just so they could have Danny Dyer in one scene playing against type for praise.

Mick constantly behaves like an overgrown child and no one on screen picks him up on it. He could still be fighting for his relationship if he was actually trying.

Linda is an alcoholic. But just like Lee’s depression, the rest of the family can’t even try to understand it or help. Instead they just make a big deal about it when it inconveniences them personally. If Linda’s become such an awful wreck, why hasn’t anyone tried to get Annie out of the situation?

You've hit the nail on the head there about how the family have no idea how to deal with anything and just coast along hoping things will sort themselves out.

Lee's depression storyline was poor. It's a shame because I thought the actor was decent and it was shaping up well to begin with, then when it all came out they basically had Mick tell him he should have killed himself, Linda apparently didn't care because she was on one of her maternity breaks and then Lee just got a low-key exit a few weeks later. It was around the same time they had that bus crash and I was convinced Lee was going to be found dead under the bus but that was just another plot at that time that went absolutely nowhere, I think Martin was in hospital for about half an episode.

Definitely a bad patch in the shows history.

Loved the Janine scene in the pub throwing out the woman Mick met at speed dating in Fridays episode, i always enjoyed EastEnders humour when they do things like that but its been on screen less so in recent years.

I know Sharon tells Phil she is too busy to manage his businesses , quite rightly focusing on her own and her family, but to sign them over to Kat after they’ve been together five minutes?

This storyline is getting increasingly mad.

Meanwhile, Whitney had an ENTIRE BUS dropped on top of her, went to hospital, and in the next episode she left Walford to go travelling!!!

If only she did actually go traveling with a one way ticket, her and Billy are 2 long timers who dont add to the show at all and have run their course but equally the show needs some familiarity more than ever so maybe they appeal to some for that reason but for me I'd happily axe both.

Karen Taylor. Telling it like it is.

Classic quote from Karen,

Can we just take a moment to think about that scene with Jada, her friends and Will in the park making 'TicTacs'. Have EastEnders writers ever met a teenager before?

I can’t believe you can even say that when 100% accurate interpretations like the one below exist tbh

My mistake, there is the epitome of teenagers right there. What a scene, how could I forget that had happened

This week's iconic scene has been uploaded

BBC EE press statement said that the square will find out about Gray being a serial killer in the week the schedule change happens.
