After learning that Confetti was the track teased in the initial album announcement I was like.. eh.. but this is really good. Really bloody good. That constant barrage of amazing pop going from Break-Up Song to Not a Pop Song is.. wow.

 

If Nothing But My Feelings wasn't #7 the pop rush could've gone through to A Mess at #9 lol but..

 

I do wish it was a bit brassier though, I was expecting the title track to feel like a massive explosion of Pop and something where you could hear like a Confetti cannon going off. It comes across as slightly understated at times but I love the vocals on this. So smooth and Jesy certainly brought it with this song, vocally. This is her brand.

Was a bit undecided on first listen but I love it already. The production is a lot more lowkey but still packs a big punch, it's impressive. Kinda Joan of Arc meets Glory Days vibes.
