Do we know if this has a music video ready?

If not I guess they could just do one of those generic videos that doesn't have them in it like Only You rather than doing it without Jesy.

Video is out in Jan :)

ahh this is so exciting! sounds like a ready-made smash.

Is that the one that’s just studio footage with only Jade? If they’re gonna wait that long to upload it (which I understand because they want to have it smash after Christmas), I don’t get why they couldn’t film an actual video. We’ve seen the impact the Sweet Melody video had on the song and a real video without Jesy would still be better in my opinion than a behind the scenes video.

Sweet Melody was a pop song though. Songs like NTFT usually don’t need videos to smash.
Yeah if dance songs take off; they take off. They don't tend to need much more than good playlist support.

Melody reminds me of “Rather Be” and I ain’t complaining.

This sounds huge. Excited to hear this pop up between the regular Christmas staples on the radio next month. Then completely smash in the new year!

I have a feeling this will go number 1

It’s not even out ☠️

You can’t assume that a song is going to be number one when you haven’t even heard it? 😅
They just had a feeling that the sound is commercial enough for it to be a #1 contender going by the chorus... it’s nothing that absurd?

Welcome to the Little Mix forum!

In all seriousness I also agree to an extent, I think it’ll definitely be a strong top 3 hit at least. Nathan Dawe is slowly growing and people enjoy him. People also like dance music & Little Mix are currently going from strength to strength too w/Confetti & Sweet Melody. Wouldn’t be shocked if this was massive in the UK.

The fact that Nathan is growing with each release and that LM have just had a big hit makes it even more likely imo, obviously it wasn’t based off of the sound of the song except the snippets we have heard, that’s just obvious.. My opinion could change when the song is released on Friday of course by as of now, i still think it could reach it due to the two artists involved, the sound of the snippets etc...

But this is where y’all set yourself up for a fall, you think it could be #1 without hearing it and if it misses the top five yall will be disappointed and complain about its performance when in reality another top 10 for Little Mix would be a fantastic result!!

Nah personally i know a #1 could only happen if everything lines up well after release etc which nobody really knows what will happen with that, it’s definitely still a possibility! I agree tho, a top 10 is nothing but a good result too!

It's not against the rules to make predictions with the snippets we've heard? The entire forum does it and have done it in the past?
I get both sides of the argument. Cause when a tiny thing happens that looks bad for them everyone literally flips out. But I’m hoping we’ve learned from Sweet Melody & Confetti.
When the local tiers are announced tomorrow and the song becomes a meme on Friday. An instant #1 smash it's true. No Time For Tiers x
this is really fun! it's a dance song so it's not groundbreaking, but the vocals are really good. Perrie is really impressive, she has a really good vocal moment at the end. Jade is all over this song. Jesy is very present and doesn't just get a line (she gets the second verse and a bit of the bridge)

How can you go from Sweet Melody into this? It's like ordering steak, having the steak and wanting a cheesecake for a desert to be told that there's none and you've build up high hopes because the steak was so good.

I like the bridge which is easily the highlight of the song and Perrie's vocals are insane but the song itself is a bit too generic for myself, Jesy's verse seems so out of place in the song too, I'm sure it will grow but it's huge a disappointment and very underwhelming and it feels a step in the wrong direction for them as artists? It just seems like a sigala / becky hill reject for me.

I'm sure Capital will spin the hell out of it though but I can't see it being a long running hit - i expect more of a Holiday chart run with a top 10 debut.
