4 years between Aphrodite + Kiss Me Once, then another 4 years between that and Golden were pretty hefty gaps.

 

(I know we had the Christmas album between KMO and Golden, but I don't really count that :lol: )

The Infinite Disco DVD has been registered in Australia so it looks like this will be part of the re-issue it's 64 mins long

 

On another note I really hope the new song is not Olly/years and years Collab

Not a fan of that partnership and just seems unnecessary.

I wonder will the deluxe jut come with maybe 1 or 2 new songs maximum and the dvd is the extra been given to get people to buy it again, if so that would work as i would buy the dvd regardless but im assuming most of the dvd content if not all is infinite disco?

I'm not convinced, after all BMG aren't known to release singles on Fridays.

Very true, they are very keen on Thursday releases, its strange really as artists with BMG need their sales all counted more in one week alot more than acts having big hits these days, with kylie for example she isnt going to have a big hit either way. Its likely bmg dont care about singles chart positions at all but i think there is a still a small part of Kylie that does, i would love to see how high kylie could get with a new single released on a friday with a physical ready for the same time and also some remixes.

I think when Kylie said in an interview last year leading up to DISCO that she's had to "re-calibrate her idea of what success means", she's probably fully aware and realistic with regards to the singles chart.

I suspect the reissue is going to be a fairly low key affair and will appeal mainly to fans. Most of the big new album releases have been announced now but there doesn’t appear to be much of a buzz about this reissue apart from the fans.

Yeah I think we can put a strike through a Part 2 style album and probably not expect more than a couple of new tracks + 'Starstruck' and 'Real Groove' Studio 2054 remix. If we get Infinite Disco added as a bonus DVD I'll be very happy as I'm pretty eager to watch that again.

Really enjoying the new disco version of 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' after not being particularly fussed on the Golden acoustic version. Sounding great on both performances!

Various rumours are being reported on say hey about Kylie having done a duet with Olly Murs (or possibly Olly Alexander) and Gloria Gaynor. I really hope the Olly Murs rumour isn’t true as I can’t stand him and think that would be a bad choice and step back. Gloria Gaynor though could be interesting and wouldn’t say no to another Olly Alexander song.

Olly Murs would be random to say the least… Gloria Gaynor would be quite the collab but I’m not expecting that either.

 

Kylie has got an Olly Alexander penned track on the reissue, that much has been confirmed, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he appeared on the song.

The gloria gaynor if true would tie in with the disco theme but I do like olly murs so id be happy to see them duet aswell.

I think the ed sheeran one turned out to be just visiting hours with Kylie among others on backing vocal. I think the jessie ware one will be on the deluxe version for sure,
