There were also 2 of the coloured Disxo cassettes added again earlier but they literally lasted for 5-10 minutes so there must have only been a handful of them - they are clearly having an end of year stockroom clear out :lol:

Maybe BMG are happy with Kylie sales and will wait until Xmas songs gone, relwase Real Groove EP etc and keep album selling nicely and charting into 2021 nicely

^^ I think so too, they know Kylie can and will sell outside of Christmas so no need for them to have the campaign over and finished in 6 weeks, like with Golden they will want to prolong the era for as long as possible.

 

I do think the cassettes were probably initially planned for release around now like with the silver Golden Christmas cassette but the chart battle made them drop them early.

I am sure there is a strategy for the next year, especially with no tour at the moment allowed. Regular promo slots and EP , Remixes, collabs released can keep streaming sales of album good enough to help physicals to keep Disco top 100 for a few more months

Kylie up to 17 on Amazon so still selling ok. Now 23rd best seller on Amazon UK in 2020

I think Kylie is in with a strong chance of top 20 now, and if it can hold on in until the end of the year 120k looks very reachable.

Its rare there is a time when its not good to be a Kylie fan, but i know what you mean, its super good right now.

So the album has had a bit of boost from the official store today from clear and black vinyl with signed photos and clear and white cassettes all which has sold out now. Few extra sales in the bag which will help considering sales are once again close :cheer:

The chart outcome is looking positive for another week.

Disco christmas obviously arent happening.

I have a good feeling Disco will be higher in the midweek chart information today than yesterday.

Hopefully it can move up a place or 2 but id be happy if it stays Top 40.

The mids are posted for today but kylie not listed, james are down to 15 and i expect them to fall further allowing kylie to take number 18.

#19 for Kylie, just shy of 4k. James will definitely slip behind - they're only selling 13 a day.

It should mean Steps will end up 17 and Kylie 18.
