There could be a backlash as Kylie was at a Dubai Spa yesterday and shouldn't really be travelling as in Tier 4...

 

She probably gone to Australia for a month and will have had to have had many tests etc and maybe put it as business trip..

 

She will probably get questioned on it, let's see how her PR handle it

So far I am not hearing any news which I would call "backlash" but how the hell can she fly out of the UK when the whole country is lockdown? (Yeah I get she is Kylie but...)

Probably for work reasons. I mean sports people can etc.

Good to see disco holding its own, im hopefuly of top 20 this week again but it should safely stay top 25, its having a really nice chart run so far.

^^ I really think it will be back in the Top 20, albums by Michael Ball/Alfie Boe, Michael Buble, Andre Rieu, Jamie Cullum, Dolly Parton etc., should fade away opening up plenty of spaces.

The dua lipa news with real groove will help keep the name out there aswell.

You have a test on arrival or the option of having one 3 days prior to traveling - as long as you are all clear then it seems the restrictions once there are minimal hence why lots of artists are opting to do shows there atm.

Anyone concerned will be pleased to know she’s wearing a mask in Dubai though :lol:

I am hopeful Disco can return to the Top 20.

Music Week predicts that DISCO will be the 6th best selling vinyl / 7th best selling cassette of 2020:

I'm kind of surprised that the cassette is "only" 7th!

 

The vinyl has done really well - it's actually the highest selling vinyl for an album released in 2020. Harry's Fine Line at #5 was released in 2019, and the Top 4 are all old classic albums (technically Oasis could be partially considered as a 2020 release, but it's an anniversary edition of a 1995 album... so I personally wouldn't count that).
