Really happy with the sales pattern so far, there is a really good chance Disco will pass 120k by the end of the year.

Taking into account today’s sales Disco is now on an impressive 88,417 :cheeseblock:

 

It should make 90k for this week and 4 big weeks of sales to come :cheer:

It also sold 14 copies pre-release, so its exact total is 88,431.

Ya we get it on Monday night so hopefully it will help kylie to stay on the chart again next Friday plus all our shops reopened yesterday after been closed for 6 weeks so im hoping disco will also get some casual sales there aswell.

I am blown away by how successful DISCO is. I'm sure Kylie and BMG are happy about many of the numbers they've seen.

 

Selling 15k more than Golden by Week 4 is super impressive! Especially when streaming has become even more ubiquitous, AND the pandemic affected business on all levels.

Big drops in sweden and the Netherlands but with no promo and lockdown its not a huge surprise.

 

Re: Sweden, I'm not too surprised to be honest. Our chart is so dependent on streaming with Spotify being Swedish, so I'm pleased she managed to chart in the top 20 at all! Kylie at least managed to chart a second week on the physical chart (which is only a top twenty list, so 3-8-out of the top 20).

I'm not surprised to be honest - people expect disco tunes from Kylie. Golden was very successful considering it was such a departure for her, but ultimately DISCO places Kylie where people expect her to be. It wouldn't surprise me if it ends up going Platinum, or at least close to it.

I think it has a real chance too - for it to be looking like being 100k after 5 weeks there is so much more to come to sell the album, further singles, promo, tour, awards/award nominations, repackaged edition etc.,

 

Definitely shaping up to be her biggest selling BMG release.
