INTENSIVE CARE STAFF AIMING FOR A DIFFERENT KIND OF VIRAL AS ICU CHOIR JOINS THE RACE FOR CHRISTMAS NUMBER ONE

 

A 100 strong Zoom choir made up of ICU staff is releasing a re-make of classic Police track ‘Every Breath You Take’ in a bid to secure the Christmas number one spot and raise funds to support NHS staff recovery from the trials of 2020.

 

Known as the ICU Liberty Singers, the choir began life as an attempt to bring some fun and respite to ICU workers after the toughest year in history. Choir members include ICU staff such as nurses, doctors and allied health professionals who have been working on the frontline of healthcare.

 

Sounds a lot like the repeat of 2015 but it sounds like something the public could get behind!

LadBaby as high as 5/1!

They must be worried he’s not releasing now, hope the odds get longer and he ends up releasing then they lose a lot of money!

The NHS choir could beat him if it got a lot of publicity ie radio and GMB on ITV and BBC TV too.

It would be an interesting battle!

Good choice of song I feel!

I raced to Bet365 to see if they had odds on LadBaby yet to see if it'd be worth bothering putting down a quick bet, but he was at 2/1 when I checked and already slashed to 13/8 within a couple of minutes, not really worth the return on investment xx

 

(they do have 20/1 on Justin Bieber though, and given he is releasing a new version of 'Holy' with the Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir, that seems worth a punt if only for it maybe getting close enough that it'd be worth cashing out :thinking: x)

To be honest I'd rather Ladbaby were number 1 every Christmas with a different song than Mariah with the same bloody one every year

Do you guys think that LadBaby secretly cares more about getting #1 than raising money for The Trussell Trust? I think he does. Mariah deserves it more.
