November 18, 20204 yr I'm sure they also hold that title in Japan (for western girl group) and also Australia just based off of certifications? For a girl group that is constantly deemed as "local" they sure do break records in other countries. They may not be as "international" as other acts, but they still are a worldwide act, regardless. I also think you have to look at the rules a bit differently when it comes to girl groups.
