This has been known for ages, even during the old Denden Forums times... They also have WOMAN and apparently a couple of others too!

 

They wont share it, specially not for free since they could make money from their sale (and they often do! it is when trading and selling happens that often something then leaks online...) . The Spice fandom is known as one of the more stingy ones out there :unsure:

You have to take some Spice fans and what they claim to have with a pinch of salt. When certain members of the Spice fandom go to ridiculous lengths to one up each other (who can meet the girls the most, get the most things signed, buy the most copies of a new album/book/etc) I have no doubt there would be plenty of lies too about what they have to make themselves even more important.

 

Interestingly not only does the clip sound very clean, as in not recorded off a tape, it has also been taken down on twitter for copyright claims. Given whole songs and loads of snippets of unreleased songs are left to be heard on Youtube and elsewhere seems odd they would clamp down on a 3 second clip of C U Next Tuesday. Hopefully there is plans for it, they went taking down the live bootleg screen shows of SW98 before the SW25 release with live tracks from those shows and tour.

I love that everyone is finally coming round to an opinion I have held for a long, long time.

On the other hand, everyone came for him for allegedly leaking Song 4 Her and Man on the Mountain, so why do people expect him (or anyone else) to leak more stuff? :unsure:

Thats probably because both of those were projects the girls were recording NEW music and both projects - GEM and Man on the Mountain - were shelved partially as a consequence of the leaks by him. You DO NOT LEAK NEW MUSIC!! That is a basic f***ing rule of any fandom!

 

You only leak previously unreleased music and demos that wont see the light of day (as confirmed by the recent celebrations anyway).

 

So, fair enough for people to rebel against those particular leaks, as they were incredibly damaging for the girls as it killed those projects all together. Geri's 4th album was totally scrapped as a consequence. The recordings from the GEM sessions were all scrapped cos the backlash to the quality of Song for Her was so big at the time.

 

Leaking C U Next Tuesday, a song that was recorded in 1995 and which was scrapped from its intended album and also from its re-release 25 years later, is a totally different thing and wont affect them in the slightest!

I wonder why now was the time to leak it? I appreciate it, it just seems so random after years of knowing of its existence.

 

Apart from the fact the hook spells out a rude word, I couldn't detect any other reasons why this couldn't have found its way onto Spice 25.

 

I quite like it! I'm not sure how to describe it but to me it sounds like it has a particular 90s vibe to it, but I can't pinpoint what songs in particular it would remind me of. I don't think any of their other songs touched upon this sound. I mean I would say this isn't a gem that is missing from the 'Spice' track list although I think it would have served nicely as a B Side.

 

I'd say it's a more instant listen than Feed Your Love. Thematically that song seems more overtly filthy than C U Next Tuesday/Likely Stories is, yet they were happy to share Feed Your Love but withhold this one indefinitely?!
