isn't Melanie *might* do another video?

hoping for Into You gets video.

 

She's already looking towards new music, specially since she wont be able to tour much or do much else this winter. Apparently she was already taking with Biff about it.

 

A few other tidbits:

 

- She doesnt feel very confident that the tour in April/May will go ahead and they will have to make a decision to postpone soon as she doesnt want to mess people around.

 

- There was no planned tour with the Spice Girls beforehand. They hadnt actually agreed to anything by the time the pandemic hit, but they were talking about it, making plans, but nothing had been agreed to (so those rumours of tours being planned and announcements being scheduled, etc was not true).

 

- Northern Star vinyl: she doenst have the power to do it, but she hopes it will happen one day (I wish she would just buy the rights back to be honest, it's her most successful album and she could do more with it!).

 

- WOMAN: She thinks the standard is at their level.

 

- She might do another video for her current album

 

- She wants to put out some new music next year

 

Into You is the 21st highest placed song included on Spotify's New Music Friday - surprisingly it's above new songs by Ella Henderson and Britney Spears.

 

Yes 21st on 'New Music Friday' and the playlist next to it under 'New Releases' Melanie's Into You is #1 on 'Release Radar'. :cheer: :cheer:

It been added as song number 1 to a dance playlist. This is being treating more like a brand new single not an album track now made a single which is good.

Into You was streamed nearly 13,000 times since yesterday (80k in total) and is in Melanie's Top 10 Most Popular List on Spotify!

Into You streams are quite bad... I know there has been no video, and hardly any playlisting but it's super low specially when there have been a few performances already of it...

 

Do we know if it has been playing on radio at all in the UK or elsewhere?

Ofcourse it hasnt been played on radio.

Probably not been sent, maybe in January ?

And both performances have been in Germany.

I'm a bit surprised she has bothered with a video for it but I guess why not. I'm sure it's meant to 'impact' in January.

She shooted the video for Into You in the past week. It will be aired around January

 

Looking forward to the video, and I'm hoping it'll get some good Radio 2 support in January!
