Posted December 7, 20204 yr With the HUGE INFLUX of praise for Chromatica on multiple "year-end" lists, what are your thoughts? Is Chromatica the #1 album of the year for you personally, and if not, what is? Vote in the poll and comment below with your thoughts :cheer: No shade whatever option you choose (well maybe a little xx)
December 7, 20204 yr Author For me, it's a very easy yes. No other album comes close to the euphoria and feels I experience when I listen to this!
December 7, 20204 yr It is, I would say by a huge margin too. It has way more bravery than some fellow popstars such as Dua Lipa, despite her album being also good. Chromatica just ticks all the boxes: It's a total EXPERIENCE! Taylor Swift's Folklore is brilliant but in a very different way. I'd say my top 3 is: Chromatica SAWAYAMA YHLQMDLG But it can still change...

December 7, 20204 yr I think all* her albums have been "best of the year" for me, so definitely a stan *Cheek to Cheek, tho
December 7, 20204 yr No, I think this title would go to 'Future Nostalgia', but 'Chromatica' was a highlight nevertheless
December 7, 20204 yr Author My second favourite album of the year after Gaga's is Kiesza's 'Crave' album - check it out if you haven't already, it's incredible!
December 7, 20204 yr No, I think this title would go to 'Future Nostalgia', but 'Chromatica' was a highlight nevertheless  I agree, 'Future Nostalgia' is a solid #1 but 'Chromatica' is definitely up there, possibly second but its super close between that and the latest albums from Kylie and Jessie Ware. What a year for disco though.
December 7, 20204 yr Best album of the year easily. She'll never be able to overcome songs like Alice & Babylon, these songs are instant classics eternalized in the marble of pop forever!

December 8, 20204 yr No, I think this title would go to 'Future Nostalgia', but 'Chromatica' was a highlight nevertheless  This :cheer: Other highlights: Jessie Ware, Soccer Mommy, Laura Marling and Kesha (really underrated)
December 8, 20204 yr Author YES Kesha is a real underrated one. I mean, it's her weakest album to date, but even then it is solid and has great moments throughout (Chasing Thunder ). Still waiting for that Kesha/Gaga collab tbh x
December 8, 20204 yr Author Great to see so much love in here. It's been a beacon of light in an otherwise dark year
