Best song on the album! Very well deserved

The first artist in four years to hold the Number 1 spot with two different albums in a calendar year, since David Bowie scored two Number 1s across January - February 2016 with Blackstar and Best of Bowie following his death.

Swift has achieved her six Number 1s in record time among female artists, eight years, surpassing Madonna’s 11 years (between 1997 – 2008). It is also the fastest accumulation of six chart-toppers since both Robbie Williams and Westlife achieved six Number 1 albums between 2000 – 2006.

:cheeseblock: QUEEN. <3

The bridge of Marjorie is the most Taylor has broken me since the bridge of All Too Well tbh

'right where you left me' is such a good song! Idk why it is "just a bonus track". I love how natural her voice sounds on this.

'it's time to go' - this is nice. I get why it's a bonus track though. Lovely end to the album though.

I'm shocked Evermore not even sold half of Folklore in debut week in the US. What went wrong?

nothing really went wrong, just that because of billboard's changing rules evermore had 0 physical sales in the US this week (whereas folklore's ones counted even though they hadn't been shipped) so that's why the number is so much lower.

such a fab us debut! evermore is the highest debut in the US since folklore which was the highest debut since reputation which was the highest debut since (25) which was the highest debut since 1989 which was the highest debut since red :cheeseblock:

Thanks for letting me know, even though I doubt that Folklore had more than 400.000 physical pre-orders back then, which could explain the big gap between both US album sales.

yeah I think it would've been a decline from folklore whatever even without the new rules, I think it would've done just under 500k with physicals available in week 1 and if it had multi formats like folklore I think 600k+ would've been in play

and that's another thing I completely forgot to now is that folklore had all the 8 exclusive CD's etc and that available in 1st week which obvs fans mass bought whereas evermore only has the 3 formats (which didn't count for this week anyway cos new rules  ) so that's another reason why the gap is probs so big!

This is one hell of an awesome track record! Wowzers!

Just noticed I never commented on this, I went in with somewhat low expectation expecting just leftovers but obviously that was not the case. As most seem to have said it isn't Folklore levels, it doesn't quite have the captivating feel of Folklore, but its still a great collection of songs and it sounds SO good in the cold weather

Cowboy like me is slowly becoming a fave of mine and I love the underrated closure.
