His 2011 holiday album, Christmas, was in first place on the Billboard 200 for the final four weeks of 2011 and the first week of 2012, totaling five weeks atop the chart, it also made the Top 5 in the United Kingdom. December 11, 20205 yr This has fallen FAST by 2020 chart standards (although I expect it will bounce back after Christmas). I remember the early noughties when this would have been a good run  I sometimes wish chart runs were swifter like this so we could have more tracks in the chart! I suppose it's getting pushed down artificially quickly due to Christmas. I reckon it still would be top 20 otherwise.
December 11, 20205 yr I actually do say xmas and so do my family haha, not all the time just as a joke really. Ahh Holly Jolly Christmas, one of my faves :)
December 11, 20205 yr buble xmas songs are massively overrated imo Edited December 11, 20205 yr by elf

Lennon and Ono had begun a personal and artistic relationship in 1968, collaborating on several experimental releases. Following their marriage in 1969, they decided that all of their future endeavours would be credited to a conceptual and collaborative vehicle, Plastic Ono Band. The band would go on to feature a rotating lineup of many musicians, including Eric Clapton, Klaus Voormann, Alan White, Billy Preston, Jim Keltner, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, and Lennon's former Beatles bandmates George Harrison and Ringo Starr. After the Lennons' move to New York, they began collaborating with Elephant's Memory, under the moniker of the "Plastic Ono Elephant's Memory Band". Lennon's collaborations continued under similar names, until the winding down of the concept in 1974. Since 2009 (following the death of Lennon in 1980), Ono and her son Sean Lennon have led a new incarnation of the group, known as the Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band, which has engaged in many new activities. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History John Lennon 1970 05 Instant Karma (John Lennon & Yoko Ono with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS- 1971 07 Power To The People (John Lennon with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS- 1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) -NAS- MILLIONAIRE 1973 26 Mind Games -1- 1974 36 Whatever Gets You Thru The Night (John Lennon with The Plastic Ono Nuclear Band) -1- 1975 23 No 9 Dream -2- 1975 30 Stand By Me -1- 1975 01 Imagine -1- MILLION SELLER 1980 01 (Just Like) Starting Over -1- 1981 01 Woman -2- 1981 30 Watching The Wheels -3- 1981 40 I Saw Her Standing There (The Elton John Band & John Lennon) 1982 41 Love -1- 1984 06 Nobody Told Me -1- 1984 32 Borrowed Time -2- 1984 88 Steppin' Out (John Lennon & Yoko Ono) -3- 1985 65 Jealous Guy -1- 1988 45 Imagine / Jealous Guy 3 x #1 | 5 x Top 5 | 7 x Top 10 | 7 x Top 20 | 14 x Top 40 | 18 x Top 100 Yoko Ono 1970 05 Instant Karma (John Lennon & Yoko Ono with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS- 1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) -NAS- MILLIONAIRE 1981 35 Walking On Thin Ice -NAS- 1984 88 Steppin' Out (John Lennon & Yoko Ono) 0 x #1 | 2 x Top 5 | 2 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 3 x Top 40 | 4 x Top 100 The Plastic Ono Band 1969 02 Give Peace A Chance -NAS- 1969 14 Cold Turkey -NAS- 1970 05 Instant Karma (John Lennon & Yoko Ono with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS- 1971 07 Power To The People (John Lennon with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS- 1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) -NAS- MILLIONAIRE 0 x #1 | 3 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 5 x Top 20 | 5 x Top 40 | 5 x Top 100 The Harlem Community Choir 1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) MILLIONAIRE 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media John Lennon Yoko Ono The Plastic Ono Band The Harlem Community Choir http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
December 11, 20205 yr Is it wrong to admit that I love the 'Christmas' album by Michael Buble? It's inconsequential fluff but I have to listen to it every year in December! I didn't expect John Lennon to be so high. I had thought he must have missed the top 40.
December 11, 20205 yr Was there a cover version of this from the finalists of a talent show a few years ago?
December 11, 20205 yr Assuming Kylie - Santa Baby missed out on the top 40? Hopefully it'll make the top 40 next week.
December 11, 20205 yr I sometimes wish chart runs were swifter like this so we could have more tracks in the chart! I suppose it's getting pushed down artificially quickly due to Christmas. I reckon it still would be top 20 otherwise. Me too. I’m here for Mariah today (literally and in the stanning sense) but the slowness of the chart these days bores me stupid. Ugh I really can't stand Bublé, hold/lift music at its finest. Same. His version of Cry Me A River is the worst ever too (don’t @ me)
December 11, 20205 yr I'm a fan of the Bublé! I think he has mass appeal across the age groups tbh! I know plenty of younger people who like Bublé! I expect many young people in particular have been streaming his Christmas songs, especially when you look at the other artists who have popular Christmas songs. Demographics kinda go out the window when you've got Shakin' Stevens coming for the top 10 in 2020!
