Zara Larsson and her label clearly don't see eye to eye, she'd be better off with another label

that is not obsessed with Zara cracking the US market, which is not gonna happen

rather have another label focused on EU/UK

Save Your Tears added to Hot Hits, it’s #45 but I’ll take it.

Sweet Melody #1 again.

Edited by Hallucinate

658k for Olivia!!!! wasn't expecting such crazy figures

other than that Kid Laroi is up to #2 but at a very distant 206K

also SZA up to #10

Do you guys think drivers license deserves the hype it’s getting?

Nope! Not at all, I’ve warmed to it but it doesn’t deserve to be this huge it’s nothing groundbreaking.

It’s all the younger kids streaming it because of her presence on social media, The way she talks to her fans is very

Current’ and constantly mentioning Taylor Swift and calling her mom etc is just clever marketing.

It’s the whole quirky lowercase and ‘Wait till I tell my therapist that everyone likes my song’ which actually is an insult to people who have mental health issues.

Like the song but it seems like it’s similar to how Billie got big.

HH updated and added a bunch of songs,

Bugzy Malone & Chip, The Weeknd - Save your tears, Saweetie & Doja Cat, Unknown T - WW2

They moved Goosebumps into the top 10 too

She seems to be very popular for some reason that seems to scape us all

guess we're not part of the Disney channel target audience

even iof we can't appreciate it, I think it's 100% totally deserved as this is a natural organic thing that's happened without any payola or playlist support

it's not like the last Ed that the second it was released it was added to all existing Spotify playlist and felt like we were forced something

like that U2 album that came free with iTunes even if you wanted it or not...

when the rest of songs out there with crazy playlist support cannot even do 100K a day, the figures Olivia is doing are incredible

what you talking about? half of Spotify uses lower cases

and an insult to people with mental issues? she's talking about a break top like 99% of songs out there.

and this is actually 10000% the opposite of how Billie Eilish happened. Billie Eilish released like 15 singles until she got big. All her earlier singles had buzz but it took her a long time to go mega, it was definitely not a thing that happened on the first da,

Oh my I got hthe feeling you're bitter cos you're a Little Mixer and this is gonna block her from a 2nd week at #1 hahaha :D

Wow that's amazing for Olivia! Can't see anything else beating her now for quite a few weeks. It's really good to see something explode so unexpectedly, it's brought a bit of excitement back to the chart ^_^

I'm loving this instant blow up. It's been a long, long time since something like this has happened - is it the first during the streaming era? I can't think of anyone else breaking through this well without a bit of promo/pre-orders/airplay beforehand

There are constantly comments about how "it's so hard for artists to breakthrough nowadays" and when someone does, people are complaining?

Do you guys think drivers license deserves the hype it’s getting?

It's a perfectly serviceable song but current hype seems excessive.

The best thing about it is that it means Ed has no chance of hitting #1. Better luck next time, ginge.

Nope. I can't hear anything special in it.

But I echo the afore-mentioned sentiments about it bringing an element of excitement back to the charts, it's been a long time since a previously unknown artist exploded like this.

The last time I recall being shocked at something blowing up to quite an extent was the first few days of Daft Punk's Get Lucky, I had no idea that would be so well received. That was download era of course though, it very very rarely happens that a new artist blows up out of nowhere on streaming.

Is there a list of official top five debuts in the streaming era, no doubt most of them are either by superstars or acts with established fanbases, or novelty like LadBaby. I can't think of many new artists smashing out the gate like this.

She’s using being quirky to sell records! If you actually look back a year her whole persona has changed.

Calm down love, it’s so obvious she’s capitalising on being a ‘quirky’ popstR

Nothing to do with Little Mix, The Song is nothing special at all and you’re deluded if you think otherwise. It’s just a nice pop song.

ALSO, in reference to me saying about Mental Health issues I’m talking about a tweet not the song glamourising seeing a therapist.

With being only 24 on TTH!!! On a Sunday!!! Tomorrow she's breaking the record for a female in the US, SHOCKED!
I do love the fact that a relative newcomer and their main debut song has blown up out of nowhere - I just wish it was a better song. One that actually deserves the attention. But it saves a stale January so I'll take it.

THIS! It’s a nice song but the streaming numbers are insane for a basic nice pop song..
