Her song did take a few weeks/months to take off though. Olivia has done it within days.

 

The article linked in that tweet acknowledges other huge hits from non-established artists (Lil Nas X/Tones And I) but they also fall into that category, Olivia's progress is something quite different.

Yep, it's definitely interesting... I think one reason of the gigantic rise is the total lack of new global hits (and well Tiktok, of course). Dakiti, #2 song at the moment, is not even on several Spotify charts (UK for instance).

 

We finally had a song with huge hype and everyone wants to hear it.
