Someone's been listening to a bit of Jessie Ware I see ;) they're both great tracks from a great album, it's criminal how under-rated she is as an artist!

 

You're about 5 months late with 'Head & Heart' but nice to see it enter anyway, deffo one of the defining songs of 2020!

 

'Prisoner' is alright I guess but it's just... I dunno, not quite as amazing at it promises to be if that makes sense? The verses are definitely stronger than the chorus. Still, it's nice to get a collab between two great artists :D

 

'In The Morning' really needs to keep climbing, I love it so much right now! And as for the cover of the single... oooft!!

 

Lol @ all those Christmas songs still cluttering up the bottom end of the chart, it's January man, stop playing them! I can never bring myself to play Christmas songs past Christmas day :lol:

 

Btw the Jax Jones song is called 'I Miss U', just a little nitpick :P

Love that my first chart of yours has 2 new Jessie Ware entries! WYP was my album of the year, and WYP, Soul Control and Spotlight are my absolute faves. Sad though to see so many Steps songs dropping out.

 

Haven't heard the Georgia cover, though have loved a lot of her stuff, and will also check out the Caroline Polachek song.

Yes I have been listening to Jessie Ware! :lol: her album is very good and I am enjoying this return to what she was doing when she first started out.

 

I know I'm late :kink: whoops. I am really enjoying it though, so no complaints here :P

 

Prisoner I was really hating to bein with but moreso with how massive the song could have been with said artists collaborating. I think the song if taken on its own merits though, is actually very enjoyable. It'll be in for a fall next week though, probably almost out my chart. I'm tweaking how it all works, staring from Monday my next chart.

 

This Christmas songs will be gone next week :P

I'm currently reworking how my chart actually works, so this chart will look slightly different to usual. From now on, it will be based on a 4 week rolling period, still posted weekly and extended to a top 50. Please bear with me next week, since my chart will look a little out of whack from this week's. I think maybe this will make my chart also look a little more sensical in the future, i.e songs will have longer chart runs, reflecting the current chart more. Less jumps up and down, in a sense stabalising my chart. This new chart will also start from Monday 11th January.

A few songs from 2020 making their first appearance I see! Head and Heart and i miss u are both great dance tunes, the former is definitely my favourite #1 from last year.

 

Glad to see I'm not the only one charting Christmas songs after Christmas too! :D Jess and Paloma both made great Christmas songs this year.

I used to absolutely adore Jessie Ware but I kind of fell off the wagon and have only just got round to listening to this album. It's fantastic.

Steps songs should re-enter next week but not for long. I'm reworking the process of how I gather the info for charting my songs and my chart is being extended, so it's gonna be hectic :lol:

Georgia's cover is fantastic and as for Caroline, check out what she did under the name Chairlift, as well!

The remix is fab, a lot better than the original version imo.

prisoner will fall next week, only because I'm re-evaluating my chart process :lol: I want my chart to appear more similar to the official chart.

I was joking off on entering Head & Heart because I kept entering other songs and pushing it back a bit. I'm extending my chart to a top 50 so that should help songs enter on a more timely manner as well.

I can see why you would get over I Miss U quite quickly. I like it for what it is, but he's done better and this is rather avarrgae as a song in the first place.

I was gutted that this got vetoed, honestly. I wasn't on buzzjack when it released sadly so I had no idea how popular it was. The Buzzjack Multichart archive will.now be my friend for making sure I don't try and enter a veto :lol: I think maybe this would have been my favourite entert since I rejoined as well :lol: my actual Bjsc entery is quite good though. Very Cheap Thrills imo.

Prisoner will fall on Monday if only because of my new charting system. We'll see.

I adore Save A Kiss. I am really enjoying her take on Dance? Music? Very nice!
