I feel like if he actually promoted his music properly his music would stick around and do a lot better cause he’s got the fan base . Like Vibez for example I feel could easily be a cute top 10 at least if promoted properly but it’s clear he’s not really interested in charting success but just releasing music for fans and for himself

I appreciate there's a bit of effort and energy in 'Sweat' and there's definitely a good song in there somewhere, but for me it's a bit underwhelming.

What level of success do you predict for the album.

With low sales in the market it could achieve a Top 20 placement.

Just under 2.3k sold so far this week, it'll outdo the 3k that Icarus Falls sold so despite the obviously much better peak, it'll have a higher opening tally too.

Given this a first listen and really, really happy with it. More than anything there is some quality control which the last album (as much as I adore it) suffered from not having.

'When Love's Around' is absolutely stunning, 'Vibez' is obviously great, 'Sweat' is so hot, 'Windowsill' is really good and then becomes GREAT with Devlin's feature too, 'Tightrope' is stunning! So many great tracks <3 There is some filler (which I have grown to expect with Zayn albums :kink:) but I am very much loving it!

Seems like he is using the album to really open up too. Overall I am impressed!

I never got round to Icarus Falls but my first listen of this was a LOT more favourable to Mind of Mine! He sounded really good throughout. My favourites were Sweat, Tightrope, Windowsill and When Love's Around (so snap with Haus basically x).
You really need to listen to Icarus Falls (or a playlist of the best songs that I make for you :kink:)
Pitchfork are getting ANNIHILATED on Twitter for their review of the album, we love to see it. Awful site!
It's a terribly written review (quite what the political situation has to do with Zayn is anyone's guess and anyone clued up on pop culture would know MANY popstars have released a "phone number" which they can get updates from the artist over text message from, it's not a personal number and the fans know it), but I've not seen any reason to believe it's a race thing either I must admit.
The annilation on Twitter will help awareness Zayn has a new album on the market.

#17 debut in the UK with a sale of 3,442 - more than Icarus Falls as expected! Not a bad result all things considered.
